If you come here I would advise getting here when they open or making a reservation. They are that popular and for good reason. Their food is excellent and their staff is top notch. If you are looking for something for a special day like birthday or anniversary then this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great place for a casual dinner with family or friends. Ambiance is great for conversations. The severs here are always attentive and prompt. I have friends who are regulars, and I can see why.
I gave it one star because there isn't a zero star option. Everything about it was bad.But the service was the worst service i've ever received in any restaurant in my entire life.

Our server Chloe was OUTSTANDING!!! She was so kind and quick with her service as we needed to be out of there pretty quick. She knew everything about the menu and recommended the lobster ravioli which was an incredible. Food also came out super fast and delicious! 5 star service from Chloe get this girl a raise!!!!

We got take out from here recently and the order was correct! Which is rare with take out. The kale salad with salmon is delicious!

Holy crap, everything I've had here has been incredible. The burger, the medallions, their Gouda mashed potatoes, the spicy shrimp appetizer. Service is always excellent and served with a smile. Unfortunately a rarity these days it seems. Couldn't recommend this place more for excellent food, great atmosphere and QUALITY food that is reasonably priced.

My boyfriend and I just had the WORST EXPERIENCE this evening at Southside. We come here all the time and love the food and the service is great! But tonight, our server lashed out on us on the way out. She asked if something was wrong with the service and then told us we didn’t tip her enough and we offered to tip more but she stormed off and said she would never serve us again. It was so awful. We want to do all we can to make people feel like they did a good job at serving us because it honestly was great service, but I guess we didn’t realize we under tipped her and we offered to tip more but she wouldn’t even let us get a word in. We went to the manager and told her about it and the server proceeded to come back and tell us she had served us several times before and we never tip her well. Like I said….. we didn’t even add the percentage of it and I guess assumed we tipped her enough, but it definitely upset us both. I don’t know if we will be coming back to Southside because of this awful experience. It was truly one of the rudest things that has ever happened to us and she wouldn’t even let us get a word in. We offered to tip more, but I guess we should of asked for the whole entire tip back after that incident. We won’t be back anytime soon. I won’t give the whole place a one star because we really do love the food…… but we are giving our server a one star for the awful attitude. What a way to end our date night!!!!!! I hope they handle this situation!!!

My meal was AMAZING! 10/10. The service was amazing and the food was soo good. My server told me about making the shrimp blackened to give it an extra spice and now that i've had it, that's the ONLY way I want my shrimp cooked. The restaurant itself gives a very cozy feeling with the fireplace and semi dark room. I definitely will be coming back and bringing more people to try good food!
