Quaint and comfortable old school restaurant in a great location with a great interior and an impressive menu. The service is generally good and we love the bar seating and the booths although the afternoon sun can be unbearable. They have a loyal following of customers throughout the years. The food while good and hearty does not have the finished taste and attention to detail that I prefer. I will say that I am not a giant fan of southern cooking except at meat and three’s. I am sure they cook to order many items while something’s are prepared ahead of time and held in an oven which is fine. The things that I have ordered here with that in mind just wasn’t enough to keep me coming back. It’s just my personal preference.

If you don't have a time machine handy, you can visit this restaurant and instantly be transported back to the 70s.Well, except for the food and the prices, that is. The food is lackluster, and the prices are definitely current. First and last visit.

We arrived, were seated quickly. One of our party headed to the bathroom, and a gentleman at the bar commented that she should “watch out for the cockroaches”. Of course we thought he was kidding. Then, thankfully before we ordered food, a cockroach walked across our table!! Shortly after that, another one dropped into the hair of a member of our party. They were literally falling out of the fan above us. Needless to say, can’t comment on the food here. We went across the street to the Italian place.

The unfriendly bartender did not give us the guacamole, that was listed as an ingredient. We sent it back, since guacamole is the best ingredient of a Santa Fe Salad. Not even a discount. I loathe sneaky establishments . They wouldn't even lower the price. It is a disgusting way to do business. Nice atmosphere, but not enough to ever want me to do business with such a dishonest establishment.

The food at sportsman’s is amazing. I just had one of the best cheeseburgers of my life and got the best service from Cheri the bartender. 10/10 experience would definitely recommend stopping by there !
The food is amazing. The service I had to go looking for my server and ask for another soda. As well as napkins after I already asked for them It's like they forget you after they bring you your food the first time.

Loved it here! Great classic tavern atmosphere with the wood decor. Food was great with good portions for the price, and service was comfortably attentive.

Went for lunch with a friend. Service was fast and attentive. My first choice for lunch was a French Dip, but I was told that they were out of the meat? Okay, so we both had different salads. Both of the salads were generous, with a lot of ingredients. Mine was delicious, and my friend thought hers was too. Lunch was in rushed, but our server did check on us periodically to see if we needed anything else. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'm sure we will be back.

It's a typical sports bar with bar food. I was told they are famous for the burgers and to me it tasted and looked like every burger you can get at any bar. The restaurant is old and outdated but I guess that is how the like it. Was told for two people there would be a 30 minute wait even though there were six or seven tables open. Has a real strong urine smell. The waitress was pretty nice and she kept our drinks refilled. I will go back again if I have to but it won't be my first choice.
