Stopped in for some baos and a bubble tea at the Germantown location a couple weeks ago.Ordered a seared pork bao and fried chicken bao. Chicken bao was overcooked and the baos overall were not as fluffy and soft.

The buns from here were amazing. We tried the veggie pan seared buns and the beef pan seared buns. We also tried the mango milk tea and peach tea with lychee. I cannot wait to come back. Everything was delicious!!! On Tuesdays, they have all you can eat $20 buns and as soon as Tuesday comes, I'll be there!Vegetarian options: Delicious options

At Steamboys, I was dancing on the first bite and could’ve kept dancing the whole time if I wasn’t so busy savoring every bite. Wish I knew my servers name. He was sooo nice and accommodating. I got the beef/veggie bao buns and the beef noodles and OMG! ?The beed noodles were just a tad bit too salty but the beef was so tender and the broth so flavorful! I’m looking forward to being hungry again so that I can eat my left overs! LolVegetarian options: Bao buns

Everything was hot and taste fresh. Service was nice and friendly. Food arrived quickly after ordering. We ordered the seared pork baos, pan seared pork and shrimp dumplings, and the beef noodle soup. The dumplings were hot and crispy. Restaurant was nice and clean. I would visit again.

Avoid unless VERY hungry and/or in a hurry.Had the steam crab soup dumplings, seared pork bao, seared beef bao, and the steamed pork bao.The seared baos were probably the best but not great. It's like wanting a sandwich and going to Subway, you're going to get what you expect, ok to average food. Definitely does the deed if you're just hungry.IMO, avoid the steamed baos. Just not worth it, especially the soup ones.The atmosphere is nothing special. Fast food-ish like. Having table service feels off at this place, it's probably because of the staff's dependency on tips, which isn't warranted for the service...Paid $40ish for half the amount of food I had at a full-service Indian restaurant (same $) the night prior. IMO, most definitely not worth it unless you're hungry or in a hurry.

This place is good for boba tea and the pan fried and soup dumplings are both very good. However I cannot stress enough how bad the closed bao buns are. Instead of having a saucy meat filling, or any kind of filling at all, its just a small pork meatball inside it. This is the case both for the single fluffy bao and the seared bao. Cannot recommend, I ate half the bao bun before I even got meat, and because its just a solid meatball rather than a soft fillng it is difficult to eat without it falling out.
