Great food, service sometimes slow - with large groups, they bring the food out as it is ready and there is always one person sitting there waiting. but go there monthly at least for lunch!

Ordered the Pad Kra Pia because I love Thai Basil. The food was good, but more like a delicious stir fry. There wasn’t any Thai Basil in my entree, but the ingredients were very fresh, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was very good. Also, there was a very “soft” fried egg on top, which I removed since I do not eat raw egg.

They deleted a previous review and that’s unacceptable. Place is not good at all. Be prepared to wait 50 mins and eat cardboard.

Came in around 1:00 for lunch and was one of 3 tables in the whole place. Sat there at the table for 15 minutes without even a "I'll be right with you". When I looked over to the bar (which was right next to us) and noticed the bar tender and wait staff leaned up against the back wall chatting away, I decided I no longer wanted to spend my money here cause they obviously didn't want it. Should've trusted the other reviews about poor service. When we walked out I told the bartender that we were leaving since no one came to the table and he said "Ok have a nice day!" Spend your money somewhere that actually wants it!

Boy this place has gone downhill. It used to be my favorite spot when visiting. The chicken used in the Red Curry dish prob came from Sam's Club - it is definitely the precooked type - not fresh at all. The veggies were just OK. Kudos the the curry sauce being good - but now I question if they even make that fresh from scratch. Sadly I won't be going back.

Good food, iffy service. The place was quiet and felt a little fancy for Thai food. Parking was a challenge although they did validate when we asked. You can walk to some cool spots from there, but there may be better places to eat in the area.

I love this restaurant. The food, the service, the quality, everything is excellent. When people visit, they always want to eat here.

Was really looking forward to trying Thai Esane, as their online menu looked so appealing! On a Thursday evening, the restaurant was empty but us, a tad unsettling given the space is quite large, and the employees were either watching the door or glancing over at us while we ate lol. Salmon curry- the curry itself was pretty tasty! Salmon had a nice crisp outer texture but tasted a bit unseasoned, along with the veggies that were undercooked. Comes with rice and the option to have chili oil in the side. Crying Tiger- beef was nice and smoky in texture, comes freshly cooked on a skillet. Comes with rice. Bangkok Wings- gives a hint of Korean fried chicken flavors, sweet and savory with a spicy kick. Overall a solid place!

Food portions are incredibly small for the price. Massaman curry was pasty. Asked for the hottest spice level and got medium. (Wasn’t even asked for spicy level) Nobody in the building was a tell tale sign this was going to be an interesting place. Also did not have any oranges which is weird because lots of curries use orange. Service was pretty much non existent, even though we were the only table inside. If you want the most mid level Thai food that makes you feel like your eating inside an abandoned ikea go for it. Only good thing was our parking was comped.

Went around 3pm but literally no one was in there. Even being the only people there the service was completely absent to the point my group had to keep getting up from our seat to ask for something. This could be mor forgivable given delicious food, but in every way it was masterfully mediocre. It was clear that chef mic was hard at work back there with the food coming out within minutes of it being ordered and everything being like warm.Ultimately this was one of the few experiences where even starving I felt worse about eating there than eating no where at all. The feeling of having less in my stomach after was attributed to the reduction of weight in my wallet. At the peak of its lackluster this places asks $17-$19 per portion (which for a Thai place are very small)

I had my first visit at the new Thai Esane recently since their move from 8th Ave. it didn't disappoint. I ordered the Khao soi with shrimp. It was an excellent soup and the shrimp were large. Thai Esane is a great place for authentic Thai in a nicer venue. The service was only so so, but there was also only one waitress. The soup had mild spice but was still very good and authentic. I'll definitely be back.
