This place oozes good vibes! We had a blast on Monday night (locals bring your own vinyl). The star of this show is the Hifi system that you see in the pics... No place in Nashville has a system that is this nice. The sound it produces and the tone is unreal! ?❤️?I'm looking forward to going back soon! FYI... Get your parking ticket from the valet stamped by anyone working, and it's free!Parking: Get your ticket from valet stamped, and parking is free?

Okay…so the vibe of this place is awesome! I love the vinyl and the music and really enjoyed hanging here listening to Jazz in Hi-Fi. HOWEVER…Their drinks (signature cocktails) are the absolutely worst I have had anywhere…ever. I had 3 drinks from the menu. The Americano, the Bees Knees and another one that tasted like rotten banana bread. I can’t even put into words how disgusting these drinks tasted. Every person with me agreed. I am not sure who decided they were good enough to put on the menu but they need to re evaluate. The bees knees tasted like I was drinking puréed grass mixed with bitters. I genuinely wanted to love this place and want to go more but not when the drinks taste like this. Pleeeeeaaaase do better

The place and services, I believe, are good. However, you can not rely on pictures on Google. It used to be a fine restaurant, and now it is only a Bar with snacks.

Bar Continental is somewhere you can go with friends, eat deliciously, drink well and talk and listen to the record spin. But can I emphasize the you can talk bit because it's genuinely nice to feel laid back and welcome at a bar - complete with great non-alcoholic options and very tasty fries and specials. We ended up back here after an evening event downtown only a week after our first evening here - it's that kind of place you can go back to and bring others as well!

Chef Brock and his remarkable team exemplify unparalleled humility and accommodation in their culinary endeavors. The journey began with an exceptional Jameson old-fashioned that set the tone for an evening of gastronomic revelations. The marinated olives, served warm to enhance the profound flavors of each variety, surpassed all preconceived expectations.A delightful encounter with Chef Sean Brock at our table further elevated the experience. Despite his renowned status, Chef Brock approached us with humility, offering insights into the menu without assuming any air of superiority. His guidance allowed us to entrust ourselves to the capable and accomplished team that orchestrated an evening of pure enjoyment. What initially began as a plan for a swift dinner and a night out downtown evolved into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to savor perfection. The combination of vinyl records, impeccable food, and exquisite drinks presented an irresistible allure, prompting us to slow down and embrace the exceptional evening unfolding before us.The Patee was a revelation, devoid of any heavy liver taste. The Prime-Rib dumplings were nothing short of spectacular, with flavors so delightful they could make you exclaim "smack you daddy good." The Swordfish and chips, unbelievably light and flaky, became an instant favorite, especially with chips that could entice a daily return.A highlight of the culinary journey was the Japanese pizza, an OMG-worthy experience. The tuna, rich with the essence of the ocean, paired seamlessly with the salty savior. The dough, with its crispy, charred, and doughy perfection, left an indelible impression, making it a worthwhile indulgence.Every element of the restaurant's experience reflects meticulous thought and attention from Chef Sean Brock and his team. As word spreads, obtaining a table in the coming months might prove challenging. I implore you to seize the opportunity now while tables are still available. Chef Brock and Team, please reserve a table for me – this establishment is undeniably the phenomenal place many have been searching for.

We went for the NYE event… It was a complete let down. The entire group was sorely disappointed. Being a Sean Brock establishment we had high expectations. Our expectations weren’t in the slightest met. While it was cool seeing Sean having a good time spinning records, the music was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation……the entire time. Literally couldn’t talk each other. It was so dumb. It’s not a concert. It’s dinner. The volume was inappropriate. The food just wasn’t good. While the chicken tasted good, it felt like we were hacking through a carcass to get to anything edible. If you’re gonna leave the bones in the food, then separate the piece so your guests know what the hell they are working with. It was a sad presentation of fried chicken. The caviar was not great. Very fishy flavor to it. It tasted cheap. The sides were below average. The overall vibe for the evening was pretty weird. The event wasn’t well attended. Those who did didn’t dress up in the rocker chic attire that was recommended. The entire group felt like we were cheated and grossly overpaid for the experience. Ok I’m done, moving on to 2024.

Upscale bar bites in a relaxed Atmosphere with incredible sound. There are 2 different rooms available. The lounge is more intimate and then the main room has another bar along with a very long double bench forming a flexible and open seating area. They only play original vinyl on high quality speakers. Each night has a different genre, so definitely check out their Instagram.Sean Brock ( James Beard awards ) designed a menu that can be shared together. The drink menu is also an upscale take on classic cocktails. When you are ready, you write down your order and your server quickly has it prepared and then it's delivered. After a few rounds of drinks, the fries and nuts at 11:30pm were a welcome treat!Parking: It's in the Hyatt hotel, valet is the easiest.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level, so very accessible!
