You have to eat here!! The food was simply amazing. Breakfast at it's finest. There was a group of 9 of us and we all were very well pleased with the food and the service.

We decided on our morning breakfast to try here! It was amazing and the atmosphere and service was amazing…. Amazing menu options and Jams and biscuits. The Bronut was a biscuit stuffed with cheesecake, Fried Green Tomato Wrap and Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelet was just a few menu items of amazing unique meals. We started off with a Biscuit Basket and Bronut (biscuit stuffed with cream cheese filing and deep fried and smothered in a blueberry compote) many assorted jams from mild to spicy. The pepper jams and jelly’s were amazing and flavorful. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, my daughter had the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelette, our son had the Daniels Big Breakfast: and I had the bacon breakfast tacos…. All our meals were great and fulfilling. There potato’s and grits were extremely flavorful and perfect sides! I highly recommend and give this place 5 stars for service, quality and food~ Julia the Kitchen manager was amazing and very warm and welcoming! TK our server was extremely accommodating and helpful!

The food was good, but not worth the wait. Although the the wait staff were friendly, it's never okay to wait 50 minutes on breakfast, and several table around us left before their food arrived as they were also frustrated over the wait. In addition, I wanted to buy some jams, but 3 of the 4 that I asked for were not available.

Small home turned breakfast cafe in an interesting neighborhood of small shops and restaurants. Food was exceptional and service was friendly and attentive. Our party had the stuffed French toast, fried green tomato wrap, barons omelette and an omelette - all received rave reviews as well as the hash brown casserole side. Even the coffee merited high praise from our group (server explained that it is a local roasted coffee). As a small negative, cleanliness was not biggest focus (sticky table, etc). But would definitely return.

Our friends wanted to take us to thus diamond in rough location. It's in an old house nothing fancy. That hole in the wall location like place. Ok the food was excellent. Everything the 5 of us ordered was fantastic. You just need to check it out and enjoy. It will definitely be a memorable time. Really great deliscious food.

Food was amazing! Delicious breakfast items. Quick service. Biscuits are fluffy and served with house made jams. If you like them, you can buy a jar to bring home some for later.

Cute out-of-the-way place, wonderful service, great food. On a quick solo trip to Nashville I wanted Someplace different close to the airport and found this with a Google search. They were fairly busy on a Friday morning but had both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff could not have been friendlier. I had the pimento cheese and bacon omelette which was excellent. The biscuit and jam were very good as well. if I lived here I would definitely come back often

We sat outside on benches. I ordered an omelette an potatoes. The omelette was good. The potatoes were more like a casserole which didn’t have any taste. The waitress told us that couldn’t split a bill for a group, but the owner gave us a solution. Overall, nothing special.

I was beginning to losing faith in the Nashville resturant scene before coming to this amazing establishment. Oh my goodness!!!! This was a true once in a lifetime experience. The care with which the food was prepared and served was completely next level. The temperature of the food along with the presentation and flavors with which the food was prepared is second to none. I see why the shrimp and grits are the customer favorite on the menu. The size of the portion wasn’t the largest but it was the most incredible spin on this timeless classic. If you are looking for an wonderful brunch experience, don’t hesitate to to try this glorious food spot.

We found this place online as one of the best places for breakfast in Nashville. It did not disappoint. Good coffee. The French toast with blueberries was delicious.

Received a warm welcome from staff when we arrived. Truly felt their pride in the place. Six of us had items across the menu and everything was excellent. Quick to deliver the food and kept our coffee filled. As the name implies, the biscuits and jam are a must. Definitely opt for the potato side. It's a cheesy savory casserole delight. Other favorite entrées were the Bourbon Street omelet and pancakes as big as your face. Finished it off with a Bronut to share. YUM!

This place is cobbled together with used furniture and is just dirty. I understand a low budget startup but it could be clean at least. Food was fair with overcooked chicken and omlet. Coffee was crappy as is usual with Bunn coffee. Server was good. No reason to go here.

I had an after lunch appointment at Vanderbilt 100 Oaks on October 13th, and decided to eat before the appointment. Doing an "online search" we thought the name Jam Cafe sounded cute and felt it would have some really good food. Not so in our case. We arrived at about 10:25 AM and was immediately seated and handed a breakfast menu. We were the only people there inside and I thought this could be a good thing as the food would be fast and fresh. My wife ordered coffee and a biscuit, cheese, and bacon biscuit, and I ordered biscuits and gravy. I went to the rest room, and noticed it was a male/female, but okay until I opened the door. Super small and aside from being a rest room they used it to store paper items. When I returned to the table, the food was already there. That fast?!?! The wife's bacon was cold and about half cooked on a lukewarm biscuit with cheese that did not melt. My biscuits were lukewarm with super thick gravy that barely qualified for room temperature. They could have at least used a microwave. I asked for the check, and the bill was just shy of $15.00 so I handed the waitress $20.00 with intentions of leaving a $3.00 gratuity. She said she would be back with my change, hesitating some and I said "okay". She soon returned telling me they had no change. WHAT?!?! A restaurant with no change. I wasn't about to break out my Credit Card after this and trust them with it, so I told her all about the crummy breakfast, with her doing the usual "Sorry", and told her she wins--keep the $5.00. Now I see some bad and not-so-good reviews on here but am truly surprised at the good reviews. They must like them better than us. Perhaps it was our timing, and they were cleaning up for the lunch crowd, but I wish they had said so. Around the corner there was another quaint restaurant with a parking lot full of patrons. I hate to use the terminology, but "This Place Sucked"!

Disappointed :( We went for the jam and biscuits, not as good as described. We thought we were getting homemade jam but it tasted store bought. We preferred Biscuit Love. This place is a good 15 minute drive out of town so we took an Uber and did a special trip for something that was not good. We also tried fried green tomatoes here.
