I'm so glad I decided to stop here. It was a little pricier than I wanted to pay, but it looked like a good vibe. The staff was very friendly and I ordered the hot chicken salad. It was well worth the money. I can't believe how delicious it was. They made me LIKE blue cheese. The chicken was nice and spicy, but the blue cheese and dill really helped settle my palette so I could eat more without sweating. The drinks are also fantastic. Solid spot to grab a bite before a flight! My husband and I had a rather unfortunate flight delay pop up just as we were arriving to the airport, so we decided to sit down and enjoy a meal to kill some time. Southern Steak & Oyster is located within the D Gates, and has a super cool gallery wall with several historic Nashville photos. Located at the very end of concourse D, this is a bit out of the way for most flights. It’s well worth it though. Great vibe, service, and food.We were surprised airport food could be real “date night” quality.You do need to make sure you have time though. Took about 40m to get our food. Luckily we got to the airport super early for our flight as we like to have buffer.
