Supporting Slowdown 4 Slowdown hoping that the owners can support their workers with negotiations to find a better way to move forward together.

Business closed down. The owners didn't bother to update the status on Yelp. Disrespect of the customers.

Previously 5 stars as it is easily my favorite coffee shop in Nashville, however they need to pay their baristas a liveable wage! A company that doesn’t value their employees doesn’t deserve my business until that changes

This place is closed. Please update Yelp so that people don't waste their time. Based on past reviews it looks like we dodged a bullet anyway.

Pay your employees a living wage, fully staff the business, and create an equitable distribution of a reasonable workload. Will adjust my review only if staff are treated with dignity and respect. For those who do not know, the coffee shop has the same ownership as Cumberland Transit. I will no longer be a patron of either until this is remedied. Stand in unity with Nashville workers.

The workers are the best part of this shop and the only reason a lot of students and patrons go there!!! Ownership, please listen to your workers-what they're asking for is the bare minimum. $16 an hour is barely enough to afford Nashville housing these days, $9 an hour isn't livable, and tips belong to employees. We'd love to return one day when workers are treated fairly again.

Visited for the first time and grabbed a bag of Nicaraguan coffee on a recent trip to Nashville. Great service, but after learning about how the workers are treated, I can’t give Three Brothers a great review. I would love to change that once we see their employees treated with dignity and respect.

The workers at this shop deserve better work conditions! Ownership needs to listen to their workers' demands. Stop slowing discussion down by canceling meetings and refusing to counter-offer their proposals. Meet $16/hr plus guaranteed tips and commit to meeting with appropriate intervals. In solidarity with the workers, Three Brothers valued customer.

I have been coming to Three Brothers for 3 years now and I have always enjoyed going-until lately. I've gotten to know TJ who owns the business and he is one of the nicest and most genuine humans on the planet. The atmosphere in this shop is a calm and quiet vibe that is perfect for working, reading a book, or just getting out the house. However, the staff that has been working recently is a different story. I went in one day with my best friend and the service we received was far below par. I fully understand and respect fighting for what you believe, however, this staff is going about it the absolute wrong way. Making patrons wait because they are unhappy with their wages is completely stupid to me. Half the time people are running in to grab a coffee or something to eat because they are in a time crunch, but that's now being affected because the staff is unhappy. If you are that unhappy about pay- leave, I will hold the door open for you. I can promise that you won't find another owner that actually gives a shit. But the fact it's being taken out on the guests at this point; and involving them in something that has nothing to do with them, and throwing a fit (which is basically what you're doing) is insane. Sit down with the owner and have a mature conversation. I know for a fact that TJ pays everyone fairly and will always go out of his way to provide because that is who he is as a person.

Very rude service. The staff seem very depressed and angry at their owner for only paying them 10 dollars an hour. Had never been here before, and came in to buy a bag of beans. Wanted to taste a shot before buying the bag, and when I was telling my sister it tasted under extracted, the barista had the balls to overstep into my conversation and ridicule me for saying it's over extracted when I showed up "at the end of the day and 20 minutes before close" The environment in here is dull and depressing. Considering it was the ONLY specialty coffee shop in town open past 5pm, I thought I'd give it a go. NEVER AGAIN!

Great little spot for good coffee and place to study. Music is weird sometimes, and it can get loud

Service was excellent and these workers deserve better conditions. Workers deserve $16 an hours plus guaranteed tips. Meeting should be scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance to give proper notice. Ownership needs to listen to their workers and treat them better!! I stand in solidarity with the Three Brothers shop employees!Parking: Parking was easy

Enjoyed my coffee here, however upon hearing that the owners won't negotiate for fair working conditions with their workers' union (which I would think constitutes a labor violation) I was very disappointed. Your workers deserve to be paid above minimum wage, at LEAST $16 per hour (and even that is low) and provide them with reasonable meeting intervals. I will be happy to update my review once these changes occur.

The hardworking workers truly deserve better working conditions! It's high time ownership listens attentively to their valuable demands. Instead of slowing them down by canceling meetings and dismissing their proposals, let's work together towards a fair solution. How about meeting their request for a wage of $16/hr, along with guaranteed tips? Additionally, committing to regular meetings every 1-2 weeks would demonstrate a genuine dedication to their concerns. In unwavering solidarity with the workers,A deeply supportive and loyal customer
