So incredibly delicious and super fast, friendly service. I often order take-out and eat at home, but the restaurant dine-in experience was quite enjoyable. I love every taco I've ever tried, but the beer-battered cauliflower taco on the veggie menu I'd my favorite! The picnic taco is so good, and the Buffalo chicken taco is out of this world. You can't visit the restaurant without trying the sangria Margherita and red velvet cake. I absolutely love this place!

Tried 3 different tacos. Cauliflower, fish and chips, and the weekly special. All different but each was super delicious. Good combination of flavor and texture. Not a traditional taqueria. Fit for foodies.Other stuff..Lots of great patio seating and chill music playing.Good parking.On a nice day, good people watching.

Of all the places I've reviewed so far, I think this is my second favorite after the El Salvadoran restaurant off Murfreesboro/Thompson. Kennedy was very helpful and a great conversationalist! Everything was perfect! I liked the elite side dish even more than the taco, which was also stellar!
I will definitely be back. The atmosphere, the friendly service and the food are amazing. Adrianna was very helpful in recommending which tacos to get, as well as ensuring they were to our liking!

As a Texas native I'm so happy Velvet Taco has made it to Nashville!! The food is always fantastic, service is wonderful, definitely go to the location in East Nashville. The store is clean and the manager Meagan made our experience awesome. We will definitely be back, make sure to try the chicken tikka taco!

Customer service was absolutely terrible.I scanned the QR code on the table at the East Nashville location to order table side. It sent my order to the midway location instead. I didn’t know until 20 min later when I looked at the email to see why it was taking so long. I went to tell the manager what happened and looked me dead and my face and said “I can’t do nothing about that.” I was like so I just lost my money? He said probably, but you can try calling the other store.Thankfully the other store (Downtown/Midway) was much more accommodating and friendly. If you plan on going to Velvet taco, visit the Midway location instead of East Nashville.
