I recently tried West Coast Taco Shop. We ordered chips with guacamole and with salsa. The guacamole had a smooth texture and it was pretty good. We enjoyed the salsa and thought it also had good flavor. My husband ordered a steak burrito bowl, which said was okay, but the steak wasn't tender. It came with meat, beans, rice, and guacamole. My food was delivered about five minutes after his came. I ordered three tacos: one fish, one chicken, and one birria taco (I had been wanting to try these). The fish taco was fried, and the fish was a very dark brown, fried a little too long. The chicken taco was messy and fell apart. The chicken did not have much flavor, either. The birria taco was the best of the three. It had a great flavor, but did not come with consommé, which disappointed me. Apparently you can order this on the side, but it doesn't say that anywhere on the menu, and it wasn't mentioned when we placed our order. Overall, we didn't leave hungry, but there are other Mexican restaurants that we prefer in this area. With a price tag of about $40 for lunch I am not sure we will return.

Really tasty tacos here! I picked up three, the chicken tacos and a fish taco, with a side of rice. They do have dine in but I took my food to go since I was visiting. It really is a no frills kind of place, which was perfectly fine with me. The prices were decent and the portions were great! The side of rice was kind of tiny but honestly, it was enough for what I needed. The fish taco had really good toppings, but the flavor of the fish was lacking. The chicken tacos were stuffed and the fresh onions/cilantro on top were nice. I also grabbed a few of the spicy and mild sauces to put on top of all three tacos, would highly recommend!

Coming from a person who is from the West Coast, this place definitely does not live up to its name. These were the driest, unseasoned tacos I've ever had. & to top it off... the service was HORRIBLE. I don't see how this place has a four star rating.

They started off amazing now they are tacobell quality! burritos for 12 bucks with subpar cheap steak with nothing but fat and gristle will not be coming back I can go to taco bell and get the same. oh and it's hot as hell in there. It's a shame they started off great and got greedy like all the other places I don't mind paying for quality but come on this is a joke do better

Will not go again. Me and my wife went on a sunday, idk if the cookers were hangover or just plain drunk, but the food was horrible. I ordered a burrito and my wife ordered the tacos de birria. Presentation looked good but honestly both were greasy AF. Not to be bashing on this restaurant but this is not how the west coast taste. Service was horrible, there was 2 ladies at the cash register and both were counting money, i didnt mind waiting but could you please let me know? they didnt say a word to us and made us wait 15 long minutes. Location is bad as well. Small and very hidden. Idk if this was because it was a sunday or not but this is my bad experience. Go ahead and try it yourself, maybe youll like it but to me ? oh no, not going there anymore.
Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian taco and a side of guacamole. Both were delicious. I will be going back.
