With all the rave reviews, I suppose it is inevitable that the ball occasionally gets dropped. Poor communication between the front and back of the house lead to our order not being prepared. Once it was discovered that our order was not being filled they got right to work and made it wrong. It happens. The good news is that while they were busy not making our order, the counter staff was able to stay current on all their socials. Bad look for a place getting it wrong. I wish you luck, but you blew it this time.

I did not enjoy the kolache, not to say the other items aren’t good. But based on what I ordered I was not a fan, the texture and taste was just odd for my preference. The dough was grainy, the meat was bland and the cheese… not sure it was even some there. It was a bit on the dryer side. Go in the morning for freshness, they will keep what they make all morning until they close. So I am glad I didn’t get it the first time I walked in closer to 11am. The wait is not the best, but it is one person who is taking orders and making coffee so don’t expect a quick in and out experience.

Welcome to Donelson! Friendly staff greeted me as I walked in the door. Was my first time so they answered my questions about various choices. We had sausage Kolish and cinnamon roll. Took one bite and we were hooked! It was obvious from amount of customers that Donelson already loves Yeast Nashville! It was super clean, staff so friendly and food delicious! Thrilled to have your lovely business in Donelson!

As a transplanted Texan, I take my kolaches as seriously as most southerners take their barbecue. Even in the Lone Star State, the places that serve actual Tex-Czech kolaches are pretty much relegated to west and central Texas. My jaw pretty much hit the floor the first time I tried Yeast Nashville’s kolache offering.It. is. SPOT. ON. Does it help that they get their sausage from Elgin? No, of course not. But the true secret is the bread with which the kolache is made. It’s very, very, very slightly sweet, yeasty, and a smidge heavier/denser than sandwich bread.Couple those things with the perfect balance of cheese and jalapeños inside the kolache, and you’ve got yourself a perfect breakfast.I’ve also had their bread pudding—equally reminiscent of that Central Texas cuisine—and really enjoyed it. It’s not overly sweet like a donut may be, it’s got the right balance.I highly encourage you to order (early) from their website beforehand, especially on the weekend. The first time I went, the line was out the door and about 5 people deep waiting to get in.Thanks to places like Yeast Nashville, I’m converting myself to a Nashvillian at breakneck speed.

I used to think the owners family's Kolache place in Texas was the best I'd ever had, but Yeast is even better. Best I've ever had.

open everyday!not today thoughthanks for the response... if I had some way of knowing because I took a cab directly to you from the airport. then walked to joyland {which was open and really good} and then no quarter {open} and then across the bridge to my hotel {not recommended}. I get you deal with the cold differently than New England but update your medias please. we have the technology!

My first time here and we tried most of the items available. Everything was really good. Highly recommend.

The service could be a lot better. For one greet your customers that choose to do business with you and when you are ordering stay off of your cell phone . That to me is so incredibly rude as an employee. . Have a conversation with your customer not your coworker . I felt like I was a burden in your bakery. The kolache was meh at best. We had to have them heat it up twice in order to eat it. The bread was stale . One and done for us .

Nice people, good food. The kolaches were different from the ones in Texas. My matcha latte was really stronger than I like and I couldn't get it sweet enough. The Apple Spice Latte was really good!
