The serving staff here were all extraordinarily friendly and attentive. Lemon and honey were brought along with an order of hot tea, which was unexpected and a very nice addition. The Signature Ramen was delicious; the beef well seasoned and the egg cooked to a nice consistency, not overdone. Would definitely return here if ever in town.

Ordered Mu Shoo chicken for takeout. Got home, sat down to eat and instead of the delicate pancakes that go with Mu Shoo, they gave me actual flour tortillas. Normally I have a wonderful experience when I order from Hongs. Had this just been a normal issue like cold food or something simple i wouldnt even bother to write a review but I feel quite insulted that they would have the audacity to substitute flour tortillas in place of the delicate pancakes that should accompany the Mu Shoo and think that people wouldnt notice. Should I presume that management at Hongs thinks the community of Oak Ridge are too stupid to know the difference? So unless you like flour tortillas with your Mu Shoo i suggest you order anything else off the menu and avoid the Mu Shoo :)

My wife and I ate here 2 nights ago and are still talking about how good it was. The food was absolutely wonderful. Also watching the plates carried to other tables, the servings were 'very' plentiful. We had leftovers we gladly took home. Our waitress Carol was knowledgable, fun and professional. We really enjoyed her. The presentation of the food was something out of a magazine, far exceeding the images on the menu. Each selection we ordered and saw go by, had lots of variety incorporated into the dish. Large plates and bowls full of very very good food. We will be back.

I really love this place and try to come here at least once every other week, the food is outstanding and up until yesterday all of the staff were always very nice and welcoming. I'm always very happy to come in and see Jessica, she's one of the best servers I've ever had when it comes to anywhere I've eaten but this time we got a new server named Frank. He seemed pretty nice at first but as the night went on he made us feel more and more uncomfortable, first by being upset with us that the way we split the bill was sort of unconventional (my partner and I payed for our own meals but they covered the appetizer completely, so it wasn't a perfect split I guess), he rushed us to order, later on in the day he got very upset that when asked about if we want our change back my partner said he can keep it as a tip specifically by going "Do you want your change, it's a yes or no question", proceeded to get mad that we didn't know you could directly hand the server their tip, and as we were leaving he made fun of me for pushing the bell peppers in my food to the side which I understand is a little bit of a waste of food but the texture of them makes me sick since I have autism and I feel like asking them to remove the peppers from the dish is just more inconvenient, especially when I'm fine with the taste.Another con other than just him is the fried calamari, it's $10 to order and I used to feel like it was worth it with how much they gave you especially when we first started coming there but we got maybe 12 pieces of it all together when it used to be a whole basketful. We still plan to come here especially because the signature ramen has become one of my favourite things to eat ever and I still recommend this place, I just can no longer recommend the calamari due to how little you get and I hope Frank becomes a little less aggressive for seemingly no reason because we could also tell he was new and we want him to do well here.Everyone else is absolutely delightful, there's a younger gentleman with black hair who always greets us and is very polite, and as previously stated we love Jessica. We just want this place to thrive.

My 11 year old and I ate here after church, they weren't too busy. The food was great and there was plenty for portion size. Our services were swift with a smile.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loved the fried dumplings and enjoyed her meal. The server spoke with her candidly and was pleasant. She even comped her coconut cake.
