Used self check out today. Everything rang up correctly. An employee stopped my check out with one item left and pretended to check each item. She said it was because some things didn't ring up, but when she saw they did, she started over again. I absolutely will not be back

EDIT: so it turns out, the employee named Abe was wearing Raven's badge!! It wasn't Raven who was behaving badly, it was ABE!! I'm glad I spoke to someone today regarding all the problems because it was Raven who came out to address my concerns and I let her know that the other employee was wearing her badge and acting awful while wearing her badge. Any complaints that Raven receives are guaranteed it was actually Abe wearing her badge. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This store needs a new manager. It is extremely poorly managed. I don't know if just the pickup department manager needs replacing or if the store manager needs replacing, but I have had a terrible experience two days in a row, and at two different times of day. The first bad experience was evening time on 9/8/23. It took 30 minutes to pick my order up, the employee named Raven was using extremely vulgar language for about 4 minutes straight cussing about how it was this "f'ing" way every "gd" weekend and that he's "f'ing" sick of it, and kicking and slamming the blue totes when stacking them back after they are empty. Raven needs a different line of work and doesn't know how to act professional in a customer facing position. Maybe he should be moved to overnight stocking. Personally I think he should be fired for acting like that so loudly in front of about 8 cars of customers. He wasn't trying to hide his behavior at all and was fully aware we could all hear him. So I thought maybe I will go early in the morning when it's not so busy. There was only one car there so I thought it would go better, but it still took 30 minutes. This was today 9/9/23 at 705am until 735am. Today was a different employee, but still terrible service. Happened again on 9/11/23 at 6:30pm. The same employee from 9/8/23, Raven, handed out all the other cars, including the ones that came after me, then stood and talked at a customer's car for 15 minutes before deciding to finally bring my order over. They definitely need a new pickup department manager, need more employees (evidently), or need to decrease the number of scheduled pickups allowed for each given day. I only live a few minutes from the store and I have lived here for 8 years. I'm not sure what is happening at this store but it has really gone downhill over the past 4-6 months. I won't be shopping here for a while due to these awful experiences no matter what time you go to the store. The employees act like you're a nuisance. Raven even asked if he was having deja vu because I was back again so soon. The reason I have placed multiple orders this week is trying to get the items that have been out of stock.

Worst Kroger in East Tennessee by far!! Poorly stocked, guys in deli had me wait 20 minutes while they slice something for their buddy who is a fellow employee. Rude cashier looked completely miserable, bagger had an attitude-waste of time and money! Worth driving to Emory or Clinton hwy location.

Our go-to spot in town for what we can't find at Aldi. We love getting filets, fresh breads, store brand "Private Selection" ice creams (OMG!), produce, Boar's Head deli meat and cheese, and special occasion cakes here. If you order cakes or cupcakes, make sure to call in the order or order in person, as we have had the online submission not go through twice and been left without personalized goodies. You CAN always have them write on pre-baked/available items in the bakery day-of, too. Check-out is easy here, service is friendly (except at the meat/butcher counter), and the produce is always fresh with a wide variety. I love going on Saturday mornings when the sushi chefs are making sushi. They will make one fresh for you! They have a great variety of wines. Overall, we really like this location.

Dirty, poorly stocked, items advertised not available, rude employees, an hour wait for grocery pickup. Customer service desk rarely open. Worst grocery store in the area!

It's a mixed bag shopping experience. It's prices reflect the local economy so your going to pay a little more. It's chronically understaffed at any time of the day. The fresh fruit and vegetables are easily the best in town in terms of selection and have increased in price but its still the place to find things. The meat department is expensive for everything. so much so that its probably the most expensive in town. Dairy is OK so long as you watch your pennies. Prices increased on EVERYTHING no matter if there was a reason or not and slow selling items have been eliminated altogether. Now that the pharmacy is spun off to Walgreens it is no longer the running joke it was previously. It's not run very well overall. There seems to be too few managers in the building and this shows with carts piling up outside, a lack of staff on the customer service desk and personal shoppers clogging aisle ways. The staff shortage comes into focus when you realise people are dumping items close to the checkouts rather than stand in long lines to pay. The new self checkout machines are unreliable and constantly reboot or die. This was an idiotic upgrade to a technology that clearly is not ready and a poor excuse to eliminate people on the registers. The gas station is run by people with a limited knowledge of the area. Prices are high compared with local towns and villages.

The short black woman wearing a red vest at self check out was rude. (Manager I guess?) Gave me dirty looks after watching her be rude to the employees who were getting buggies in the stormy weather. It is no way to run a business.

Customer service within the whole of Kroger is nonexistent. What type of company makes policy such not opening additional manned registers until there are 7 people waiting? One that could care less about customers.

Went into the store to see if I could get a smash cake for my daughter’s birthday. Said they couldn’t make one, but they could make an 8 inch cake or a large cupcake?? Didn’t make sense to me as to why they couldn’t make a mini cake of some sort.

This is the store I usually shopped at when we lived in Oak Ridge. It's a little older now and they put up more displays in the open spaces. In my opinion, they put up way too many displays. They pretty much filled up all of their open spaces. During busy times, it's difficult to get through the store.

out of over half the things in your grocery order. This has happened about every time I have shopped here . shelves are empty! service is not great. terrible!

Standing in line right now they have two registers open and only one side of the self checkout. The lines are ridiculous. Never experienced this at any other store.
