The people here are really nice. The service was really fast. But the food was not great. I had a quesadilla and chips and guac. The guac was good, the chips tasted like store bought chips. The quesadilla cheese was bland, and the tortilla tasted store bought. Kind of that thin ultra white type of tortilla, not that thicker homemade type. So happy that I have a new place to shop for authentic ingredients to help me recreate the foods that I grew up enjoying. To top it off they have some of the best homemade Mexican food around.

A pleasant surprise. As I walked in I instantly felt like I was back in South Texas. Like so many of the border bodegas, this place has a little bit of everything. Snack, supplies, fresh cut meat, and, of course, the food. The tacos and tortas are above average, and the molcajete may just be the best in/around Oak Ridge. We’ll definitely be back.
