Food was good as always. Sushi was our craving today.. Waiter still has a mask in 2024 but wore it on his chin. Restaurant lighting was fully lit up for dinner and dirty tables all around. It felt like a diner. I almost called my wife and told her to meet somewhere else. The food is what keeps us coming back to Fulin's. The one in Cleveland is preferred over this location due to atmosphere.

Our waiter, I believe his name was Jayden was great up until the end of our visit. Before he brought the bill we ordered some sushi rolls. He then made a comment about how much sushi we "put away..good lord guys." Honestly it was incredibly hurtful. You should always pick your words wisely- you may not know a person's relationship with food when they dine with you.

The lights are horrendous inside. Those are some of the worst led lights ever made. I will never come back unless they change the lights. Terrible place for people with sensory disorders.

We go here for sushi, but their lunch specials are good, too. We drive to this location (Ooltewah - yum!) instead of Cleveland (yuck), bc that location has gone downhill.
I have been eating here for over three years and just found out today 12/31/2023 that Fulin is under new management. How did I find this out? I made an order for pick up only to get home and my sushi roll is smaller than what it used to be. The assistant manager Jasmine admitted it is smaller because they hired a chef to make them smaller but keeping the same price as before they were a lot bigger. This is disappointing. I also ordered chicken stick and was given the wrong sauces which is a common order for my wife because she is keto and the assistant manager jasmine also stated where she is from in Cleveland, they give a different sauce. She did not care as to what goes on in Ooltewah. She kept comparing her experience to Cleveland TN and had 0 problem solving skills and effort. This entire experience is disappointing and the NOT the usual Fulin. We will be buying from here in 2024! They have lost loyal customers with this new management that absolutely sucks. Management clearly does not care for the customer and I’ve noticed over reviews that share the same sentiments.AVOID AT ALL COST!

We went there for lunch. They have a good selection of vegan options. We had veg tempura and vegan tempura pockets. They were good. But good part ended there. Two entrees we got were very bland. Both of our kids didn't like it. We try to add soy sauce and chilli sauce but still it was very bland. It was almost like they took the boiled noodles and served us like that. The entrees were the most bland meal I have ever had.
