Hours posted at front door are 8am-2pm on Saturday. We arrived at 8:10am, cafe was not open. Waited until 8:25am, no proprietor showed up. Many customers arrived and were disappointed. Their food looks great! Hope they are able to figure out their staffing.

Delicious little warm, cozy family run cafe. The owner and workers are so welcoming and jovial. Me and my nephew stopped there on our way to Dollywood. He had a great bagel sandwich and I had the hillbilly grits which were excellent. Come for the food but stay for the warm ambiance.Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pages for the kids and special treats for each page you finish then they hang them on the wall of fame

It's a rather small place, so if you're lucky enough to get a table, you will absolutely enjoy everything they bring you. They are super nice and welcoming people. God bless this Cafe and the staff that works in it.

Wonderful service, tasty viddles, great value and family friendly -- but you may want to call ahead for larger groups of 5 or more, because the secret is out about this little gem. We searched out a small non chain restaurant. This little place is a gem! Everyone is greeted with a welcome from the owner as soon as you walk in. It is a very personal, food made the way you want it kind of place. Friendly staff offer nice conversation. We had biscuits and gravy with eggs. The food was made to order and homemade. The biscuits were so soft and fresh. Everything tasted wonderful ! We watched him making pancakes they were so tall and fluffy! We really enjoyed this place!

Pancake Perfection! If you haven’t had pancakes at Lil’ Black Bear Cafe you haven’t lived. No where else “stacks” up. Buttery, fluffy and delicious. Chef takes pride in every dish he prepares and it shows.
