Took my family of 8 & spent well over $1k for the day. Just getting into parking lot took 45 mins. It was very chaotic & unorganized. Due to lines we only managed 4 rides for the day. Though staff was friendly they were understaffed. The food lines were extremely long. Waited over an hour in line due to only 2 cashiers. They had stations for 6 cashiers but only 2 working. Very disappointed & will not be returning.

Wow! All I can say is that Dollywood knows how to run an amusement park! All of the rides are loaded efficiently and there honestly was minimal wait times for anything except for Lightning Rod (which was to be expected) Some roller coasters we were able to do 2 or 3 times. Also, we couldn't believe how smooth all of the roller coasters were! Food was phenomenal. We had the BBQ chicken melt and then the rest of our group of 8 had Red's and they all raced about it. Can't forget the cinnamon bread, which was amazing! The shows that we seen were great! All staff were very friendly and items in the shops were reasonable considering you were at an amusement park. Trolley system was fast and efficient! It made my son's 12th birthday one to remember! I wish we didn't live 11 hrs away, we would have upgraded to season passes.

The best theme park I've visited yet! My Fiance and I came with our wedding party for our joint bachelor and bachelorette trip. Parking was easy to navigate and they have quick shuttle services. The bathrooms are very clean! We kept raving about how we felt like everything was so well thought out when it came to the design of this park. They have things to do for the entire family, our group went onto a ton of Coasters that were very fun. The wait times were SO low as well, only about 5 min each ride! The price of food, drinks and merchandise was more reasonable than any park I have visited before. I am also Gluten Free and found there were many options for myself to eat. Everyone in our 15 person party enjoyed the food! Make sure to swing by the Cinnamon Bread shop and meet Miss Lillian to get a Chicken Blessing, She was absolutely incredible and a highlight to our trip. I'm a huge Dolly fan, and would love to continue coming!! Thank you for such a wonderful day!

I'm not much for amusement parks so take this review as it is. It seems this park has gotten too big for its britches. Took more than 30 minutes just to get to a parking area after having to pay $25 to park. Then it took at least another hour waiting for a trolly to take us to the park. There are/were two porta-potties at this parking/trolly stop and at least 1000 people(and growing) waiting to get on the trolly. You can imagine what those potties looked like by 1200(park opens at 1000). Then you have to buy tickets once you arrive at the park, another wait. So, we spent over 2 1/2 hours just trying to get in the park. We arrived early in the hopes of getting in just as they opened. It was almost 1pm by the time we actually got in. They do offer a great discount for military and first responders so that was very much appreciated. Every ride was about a two hour wait. Our party of 6 rode two rides total before we were ready to leave at 5 pm. We crossed it off the list of things to do but I definitely won't do it again.

This is the most beautiful theme park I've ever visited! Great for kids, and even adults. If you're into coasters I have good news. They have a wide variety of coasters for all ages. I'll rank my favorites based on what I rode. (Favorite at top) Wild Eagle- My first flying coaster. Smoothest ride I've ever been on! Amazing. Lightning Rod- Two words: Amazing airtime. Mystery Mine- Great theme, vertical lifts, and drops. (Some minor head banging though) Thunderhead- intense wooden coaster that jerks you left and right at intense speeds! Big Bear Mountain- Best family coaster I've ridden! Great launches and queue line.

#AmusementParkReview #Dollywood Dollywood So let me give you the rundown of our experience at Dollywood. We arrived to the park, we got stuck in a little bit of traffic, but that was OK. On our way there, I will tell you that parking is absolutely rough, so you gotta be early. It is a 25 minute walk or you wait for that tram . Or you pay $50 for preferred parking, stuck with the 25. When we arrived to the gate, there was a nest of water moccasins, sitting right at the bridge, a mother and all of her babies, it was very interesting and it caused everybody to come and look I told him here we go, we are already starting out with the interesting stuff lol so when we first got into the amusement park, we had not so pleasant experience with a staff member immediately. But I will say this was the only bad experience we had the whole time. We wanted to take our picture in front of the Dollywood sign. I asked the lady if she could take our picture and she looked at me and said no she did not say companywide we can't do it, or anything anything like that she just straight up said no. And then when I asked a customer or another guest to help, they took the picture and she yelled at them for standing in front of her camera, but she wasn't taking any pictures because we were in front of the sign. But then, later, on that day, the rest of the staff members gracefully obliged to help us, and it didn't seem to be an issue. So I think she was just some grumpy a$$. Now to the amusement park itself, it was decent priced, we got a deal because of the military. But the rides had long waits but not one time. Did you truly feel like you were in line that long. Those staff members truly knew how to maneuver those lines. This was not a bunch of little highschoolers, running a ride and jabbering with their friends. These people knew how to move these lines. There was a buffet and for $20 for me and $12 for Schyler, we got to eat all you can eat pork, shredded ham, all kinds of stuff, and it included drinks. You can't do that in the real world at Golden Corral. The staff was very informative and given us directions anytime we asked. You can truly see the magic and the love that Dolly has put into this park, I'm pretty sure she's had her stamp on this park because you can feel it. The theme is, I will always love you, and she has made it clear that that is exactly how she feels. The roller coasters were all smooth and fun and creative, there was one ride we got on, and we thought it was gonna be so bad, because it just was so boring at first and then all of a sudden you're falling off a cliff three times, and we were like what the heck was that And I swear they have the world fastest wooden roller coaster because I thought I was gonna die. The ice cream was expensive, but that's normal. It's an amusement park, we did get the souvenir cuff, and got free refills all day. And the great thing about that is it didn't make you wait 15 minutes to rescan your cup and wait in line, as long as you have the blue lid or the purple lid, you have the opportunity to just walk up and fill up your drinks and move on. It's not like they restricted you They gave you what you needed. The greatest thing is every roller coaster, and every ride you were allowed to bring your stuff and put it in a location to store your things. They didn't force you to buy a locker or hide your stuff and bushes. They actually accommodated the guest who paid the money to come into that part, and not tried to trick the guest into buying more things and spending more money . I truly think that this was an outstanding and amazing park, and I love how everything is so themed, and it's themed and incredibly, it's not just a weird spaceship land that you go into with a roller coaster, and then nothing else goes with it. It was a whole wood area or a whole mining area or something of that nature. It just all went together it was nice to see the fun and the creativity that was put in this amusement park. We will definitely be vi

Dollywood is a family friendly amusement park filled with coasters, food , and entertainment. Fans of Dolly Parton will definitely enjoy this park because you can see her hand in it throughout. You can sing along or watch. one of her many shows. It is definitely a great time!

If I could give it zero stars I would. We just visited during Spring break '24 which we knew would be crowed but we are a family that is on a teacher/student schedule so we are used to crowded parks like in Florida and many other states. Purchasing on the Military discount we got a multi-day park pass for a family of four for Dollywood. The park was busy but again we've seen busier but Dollywood is not either prepared or trained to accommodate large crowds. Each coaster was at least an hour - two hour wait which again we were prepared for but for food, beverages, bathrooms and even shops the wait times were outrageous. Food line at over 6 options we attempted was over an hour. Bathrooms for the males was ok but for the women it was literally 30 minutes at the minimum. The men's room was also not to the standard I expected being that multiple reviews state it is clean and tidy (the bathroom wasn't). We entered at opening at 10am and left after riding 2 roller coasters at 2pm because we couldn't stand around and waste a precious vacation day. Went to guest services and they refunded only the second day for all 4 military discount passes. While I understand I probably wasn't getting any more refund I just wanted to post to warn any future military and non-military families that Dollywood in my opinion isn't interested in the experience for the family and more designed to pack the park without the consideration of expediting services when the park's capacity is at the higher end. Would rather spend time around Pigeon Forge and the mountains than waste $300 or more for a couple roller coaster rides when traveling from a long distance.

Hours of wait for everything including food. Fast pass access was either not available or the lines were as long as the regular lines. We felt cheated and left after a few hours

An extremely disappointing day at Dollywood I have never seen crowds like this at any theme park. Dollywood did not seem equipped to handle the number of guests at the park. The line of cars to get into the park stretched into the main road. It took 30 minutes just to get into the parking lot. We were here for five hours and could only ride two rides. By noon, the line for every ride was holding steady at over an hour long. I know it's cliche to complain about crowds at amusement parks, but I cannot overstate how ridiculous this was. The line for every ride, attraction, booth, and store was pouring into the walkway. There were so many people walking in all directions... it felt so suffocating. Dollywood also didn't seem to have the facilities to support the number of guests they had. Other than a few sporadic water fountains, you would have to wait in line for 30+ minutes just for a drink of water. When we realized the lines were not going to get any shorter, we decided to eat at Till and Harvest food hall. We waited in line to order for 10-15 minutes, and then we waited another 20-25 minutes before receiving our order for two people. Everyone around us seemed to be having the same experience. The fries I ordered were good, but the salad my wife ordered was not good at all; it had clearly been prepared at least a day before they served it to us. We were not happy until we decided to leave. I would not recommend going to Dollywood unless you're paying extra to receive special treatment and skip the lines.

Do not buy premium passes here. The theme park really doesn't honor them. There were multiple rides where the wait was longer for premium passes. It is like the park punishes you for buying the fast passes. We sent members of our part through the regular line, and they got on the ride faster than we did with premium passes. We love amusement parks, but Dollywood has been a serious disappointment .

A wonderful place to visit especially during Christmas time. Me and the family loved this place!

This park is awesome. Everything from the big coasters to the theming and landscaping is awesome. Wild eagle and big bear mountain are some of the parks best ride. This park is so beautiful and has so many good rides and coasters. I cannot recommend getting the cinnamon bread enough, and also there is a line upstairs that has about 1/3 of the wait. The craftsman valley place is so beautiful with all the intricate shops like the blacksmith shop, which was so cool to pop in and see what it's like. in total, I rode about 15 rides total. Mystery mine was probably the worst of the 6 coasters I did, including thunderhead , wild eagle, blazing fury, big bear and dragonflier. It was fun, just a bit bumpy. I cant recommend going her enough. MUCH BETTER than other parks like Disney for a fraction of the price.

First time visitor to this park. It was Spring Break so I expected crowds, however the park was clearly over sold. You could barely move in the herd. Huge lines for everything. Bathroom? 15-20 minute line. Rides? 60 minutes with fast passes! 75 minutes or more for the rides that didn't allow the passes. Food? Forget about it!!!Madness. Got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza at Lumberjack Pizza (or something like that). You order at a register, after waiting in a huge line, only to be thrown into a sea of people waiting for pizzas to be put on shelves. No order. No workers. No nothing. Just 30-40 people pushing and clawing as the pizzas were placed on shelves one at a time. Workers not saying anything as they robotically placed pizzas on shelves amid angry customer fighting amongst themselves. Took an hour to get two mini pizzas, not even the kind I ordered, and a Dolly cup for over 40 bucks. Arguably, the worst run pizza place I've ever been to in my life. Did get some Cinnamon Bread and icing which was excellent and actually worth the 15 minute wait. All in, dropped like $1K, to go on 5 rides and be miserable in crowds and lines. Left the park early at 3:30 pm because it was so crazy busy. Never again.
