“Recently opened under new owners and it's a great spot. Nice relaxing vibe. Amazing freshly baked good. The quiche is amazing and honestly the best diary free, GF peanut butter cookie in town. :-) Went down well with my latte. We have had several business meetings here and it's a great space for that and recently rented the place in the evening for an event (family birthday party. Super fun. “We have been visiting Blugrass Grill for years every time we go to Chattanooga (from Atlanta) for good reason. We visited again this morning on our way back to Atlanta and it was amazing as always. The service is top notch, the food is amazing, it’s a perfect breakfast spot, and the coffee is awesome.“

But we were placed right between two other families and felt like I was at their table. “Hands down the BEST cupcakes in Chattanooga, if not in all of East Tennessee. Their cupcakes are appealing to the eyes and delicious to the taste buds. Quality and presentation are just as great, too. They offer creative flavors as well as classic flavors that are done extremely well. Cupcakes are the star of the show here, but there's also edible cookie dough, ice cream cupcakes, and confections like chocolate dipped pretzels, strawberries, oreos, truffles and more! Service was a bit pulseless the day we visited. The two workers seemed a bit preoccupied and almost slightly bothered that they had to stop packaging to help us and the handful of people who came in behind us to order. We did get a "thank you" after paying, though. Designated free parking for Cupcake Kitchen customers can be found just behind the storefront. There's only a total of 5 parking spaces currently, and you must pull in and back out directly onto the road, so parking can be a bit tight. There's an outdoor bar height table to eat at, but no seating inside. Our favorite and most recommended cupcake is definitely the Almond Raspberry ($5). Other flavors we've enjoyed and highly recommend are: Lemon Drop, Chocolate Raspberry, Key Lime Pie, and German Chocolate. Gluten-free and dairy free cupcakes are offered as well! Definitely pop on in and grab yourself a cupcake or two whenever you're in the area. Your sweet tooth will thank you!“

“Service was exceptional! Staff is on top of cleaning tables, refilling drinks, and the restaurant is super clean. This was our first time and they made sure we had ample explanations of everything from the meat selections to the hot sides, as well as the salad bar. We had Gilberto as our servers and he was phenomenal. Will definitely come back. “The quality of The Local is exceptional. The best açai bowl I have ever had, without a doubt! Their ingredients are top-notch. The PB & Açai bowl is delicious, and isn't too sweet like many of the generic smoothie bowls. It is expensive - $13+ for the bowl before tip, so that is the only downside to this place. If they lowered their prices even a couple of dollars, I think they would knock it out of the park and it would feel more fair to the consumer.“
