“We went here when Silver Springs just opened five years ago and loved it. Today was our second visit and it was as excellent as it was five years ago. Fresh, healthy, delicious Greek food (both of us ordered chicken souvlaki), and we also shared a wonderful bottle of their Pinot Noir. Service was great and the dining room was delightful. We especially enjoyed the fact that there were no ill behaved children running around or crying with inattentive parents. We were able to enjoy a nice meal in a quiet atmosphere. We live closer now than we did five years ago, and plan to visit Silver Springs regularly. You will love this place—I promise you.”

“Food and service was amazing! And the desserts by the register are so good and fresh.I’ve read other comments on here about the wait time and yes the wait time was long but people have to understand that homemade food is not quick to make. If you want quick unhealthy food, go down the road and get fast food.My personal experience at Jessica’s place was amazing and I drove 40 minutes there and i would drive 40min again. Also stop by Amish farm market when you’re done if you love fresh homemade ingredients. They’re all good people.”

“Such a fantastic diner. Friendly staff. Feels like home as soon as you walk through their door. The food is wonderful. Home cooking where the bacon is thick and perfectly cooked, and the chocolate gravy is a MUST-TRY!”

“Great place to eat, buy a vehicle, or equip yourself with the latest and greatest in out door equipment. The Cass family run a cool complex there, with Midway Milkshake being a great dinner and dessert Stop, “SMO” Starr Mountain outfitters really neat place for outdoor goods and equipment and last, but not least the oldest of the three east Tennessee auto outlet were many people, from this area, have purchased cars from Scott and his family over the past 20+ years and continue to get great vehicles at competitive prices.”

“Very glad to find this little place in Athens, Tennessee. Service was fast and friendly. It has a slightly limited menu, but very good food. We got level one on spicy, and it was about a spicy as I can enjoy (and I like it spicy). I have no complaints about this place. The only reason I gave it a three on atmosphere is because it’s very small and in a strip mall. It was pleasant and clean and the bathroom was clean.”

“The Hurricanes we got were great... Decent prices plus we couldn't even finish them all so definitely got our money's worth. Service was awesome as well... However, the only downside was the dining area outside is right next to the driveway to the drive thru window and all of the vehicles exhaust was kinda fuming us out. Kids enjoyed the treat too so all around, it's a good place and we will definitely be visiting again.”

“This place, even though small, was jumping! There were many people there, but I had no wait time. I even got to choose where I wanted to sit. The food was delicious! I'll definitely be going back there when I travel that way!”

“The dairy had great ice cream! The tour for kindergartners could have been better. All of the areas we toured were not working for one reason or another. The tour offered videos in the tour areas but the videos didn't have the same effect as the actual machines working.”

“This one is a little out of the ordinary, but worthy of praise. In ordering tonight, my wife started speaking Spanish to our waiter. That apparently triggered a memory of the waiter from a time we were at La Cabaña at least two plus months ago. Our waiter replied, in Spanish, "I think you are the lady who left your keys here a long time ago". Indeed, my wife had lost her keys, and we had torn our property apart trying to find them. The waiter walked over to the register, and returned with the long lost keys. You can imagine how shocked we were to find out where they'd been all along, and that our wonderful waiter had made the connection. We've been back to La Cabaña since losing the keys but were waited on by others and the key connection was not made at those times. In addition to being a place where you can leave your keys and know they will be waiting for you, the food and overall service has always been fantastic. We are thankful to have La Cabaña in Charleston, Tennessee!”

“The food here is excellent. Very good and priced fairly. The atmosphere is not as great. It’s in a strip mall but don’t let that stop you because it’s worth it. The service can be very hit or miss. We’ve had great service here and terrible service and there seems to be a high server turnover as we rarely see the same server again from visit to visit.”

“This place is a little off of the beaten path, but a good place to go for a tasty American meal They're on the same road where the Post Athenian used to be. The atmosphere is "eclectic" which I like ok and there's plenty of parking. It's wheelchair accessible which came in handy when my Dad was still alive. I like their burgers! Try them out!”

“Like home cooking!! It's all good. Best Mexican in East Tennessee hands down. Sopes are hand made and packed to the top. Perfect. We drive to this one and pass by all the other restaurants to get here.”
“An absolute gem! I can't even begin to express my adoration for this place. Simple, friendly, welcoming. It's a dive bar, but in the best ways possible. It's clean, comfortable, and feels like home. Places like this are few and far between, and unfortunately, fading away fast. The Tipsy Cow Bar must be appreciated and preserved!”

“We love going to this Waffle House. We always get lucky enough to have Marsha as our server, she has the best personality. The food is great, the managers always comes out to say hello. Just a very pleasant experience that you rarely have at a restaurant these days. .”
“Hidden gem of a restaurant, so glad we found it! The service was very good and good food was exceptional. We had the ribeye steak and rack of lamb, both were very tender and flavorful. Will definitely be returning to try up their hamburgers and salmon.”

“Staff is very efficient, we were quoted 15 minutes and seated in 10 minutes! Lots of 3 and 4 star employees (sign of longevity) The only downside was the long line to cash out. I love that I can scan the receipt and pay on my phone now, way to go CB that was a great move!”

“This was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The prices are insanely cheap! Food was good; margaritas were too! Live band, The Band of Jones, was playing. Enjoyed their music as well. The lady at the front, Donna, was extremely nice & helpful! If we are ever up visiting this way again, we will definitely be back! It is NOT kid friendly-must be 21 or older which makes for a great adults only date night!”

“When we first arrived I was slightly disappointed, they had us take menus to a table of our choice for two , then come back up and order. I ordered water to drink and my wife had a Coke Zero which they bring a bottle no refills unless you pay. Strike 1. So we ordered a starter of a couple dip Humus and Taziki. My wife had a gyro salad and I ordered a fish and shrimp. Fried cod and jumbo shrimp. We sat down the drinks arrived and as we waiting a wasp and stink before g appeared by our table. Inside the dining area. Strike 2. The starters arrived the dips were pretty good especially the taziki dip. That helped. Then the salad arrived which my wife really liked and my fish and shrimp arrived. The fish was cod. You can easily over cook cod in a fryer, however the breading they used was about as well prepared as you can get. It kept the oil of the fish and didn’t crunch or burn, delicious. They shrimp had a harder crust but it was also very good and maintained the flavor. Of course it had to be frozen at some point but it was still very good. We decided to get some of their smaller deserts to go and they too were very good. The venue has winery with it. If they actually put a Greek theme into the venue ie make it look like a Greek isle. Use a hostess and get better drinks as far as colas and sweet tea etc. then this place would probably be the best in their tri county area. The food is that good ,the people are friendly just need a little more and this place would get more than 5 stars. I’ll go back.”
