Friendly Staff, Clean Aircraft, Fun Family TimeThis is a fun little thing to do with the family if your kids haven't been on a helicopter. We did the $39 a person river ride. It's only about 5-6 minutes but it sure made both of my kids smile a lot. My so. Asked a couple days earlier if we could ride in a helicopter so sure; why not. It might have been cooler to take the longer ride but it was so fun for my 3 year old. He was smiling so big!The pilot and all the staff were friendly.

This was a very cool experience, just very pricey for how short of a time you're up there. And we had to wait almost an hour to get in the helicopter even with a reservation. We had fun. Probably wouldn't do it again because of the cost for such short air time. But pretty cool to do once.

They offer a large variety of flights, so there is probably a flight that would fit your budget. The staff was very friendly and informative. They have an area where you can do things while waiting, but we didn't have to wait very long. There were four of us in our group and everyone had a headset so that we could talk to each other and the pilot. The pilot was very accommodating and answered our questions. Our 11 year old boy was able to sit up front with the pilot so you could imagine how happy he was. While the cost is not cheap, it was definitely an experience for my family.

This was the first time my wife and I have ever done a helicopter tour and it was amazing! We already plan to do another the next time we vacation in this area. We did the Mountain Valley Tour. It was 24mi, and we were in the area for about 15-ish minutes. Jesse was our pilot and he was very informative about the background of what we were seeing. We highly recommend coming here for helicopter tours.

We went on the "National Park Tour". I've been on helicopter tours with other companies (Alaska, Hawaii, Grand Canyon) and this was BORING in comparison. The pilot casually mentioned when we took off that he'll be flying a lot higher than other tours because of park requirements. If I had know, I would have picked a different tour! It was hard to see anything from that height and 20% of the time we couldn't see at all because we were up in the clouds. They also rush groups through -- We stood in the blazing sun for 5 minutes while the helicopter refueled which saved them the 20 seconds it took us to walk from the shaded area to the loading spot. Very disappointing -- Especially for the price ($780 for 3 people).

We had a wonderful experience at Scenic Helicopter Tours!There is a wide selection of tour options from a few dollars to extended packages. We chose the Ridge Runner Tour which was a fly over Bluff Mountain. Very scenic tour and very enjoyable! Our pilot Jesse was very engaging and pointed out key scenic points and attractions along the 18 minute flight. Jay was our boarding attendant and explained the safety rules to make sure that we had an enjoyable experience. We will definitely return again for other tours. If you have any concerns, it is very safe and worth every dollar!Located on Winfield-Dunn Parkway behind the big yellow helicopter.
Our pilot Wade was really really awesome and informative. My boyfriend was visiting from South Korea, and both the pilot and our attendant made him feel so so welcomed! Even though we decided to do the short lake route, it gave a taste for more! When we go back again, we will definitely do a longer one. The sights were beyond beautiful!! I can't recommend enough!

This experience was a great success. Booked a private flight for my son and his girlfriend as he used this as a proposal. I was able to chat with Lori and she set up everything and made this a magical experience for them. Tommy their pilot was a wonder guide. Jay the photographer did an amazing job capturing the proposal after they landed. Very impressed with the ease and comfort of booking this for them. A very memorable experience for them and highly suggest this as one of the must things to do while visiting the area.

What a disappointment . After looking at on line booking, called first to get some info. All I got was MISinformation. There are no reservations left, there might be some reservations available, they are temporarily closed, they are actually open , the helicopter is down for "maintainance", they have an unexpected large party they are trying to accomodate, they have plenty of seats still available, their phone recording says number no longer in service, minute later it rings thru. If you have more patience than I, enjoy your flight !

Was here for a bachelor party a week or so ago and we decided to do a helicopter tour after seeing this on one of the local coupon brochures at a distillery. We hit the info center closer into town and they made it super easy to figure out which tour to get, pricing, and schedule with plenty of time to drive north to the actual helipad where the choppers take off. Chopper easily held 4 - 3 in the back, 1 in the front. Jordan was our pilot and Jonathan was our boarding attendant and they were both extremely professional and made the process clear and fun. We opted for the 12 minute or so tour, which was just enough to get a decent taste for riding in a helicopter. Didn't see a whole lot other than the town, golf course, and some of the homes on the hill. I think if we had wanted more scenic touring, that I would recommend the splurge to go along the ridge-line tour or maybe the bigger tour that includes the lakes. Otherwise, it was really well done. I'd add photos, but I noticed there were so many on here already of great quality that mine have nothing to add.
