Food overpriced * edit * I just really want to emphasize how horrific overpriced it is inflation or not its awful to see the borderline robbery *and honestly just not worth the time spent there at all tried here out because archers closed ( very sad and disappointing btw) and was entirely blown away by the poor effort put into the food. I guess there's no more good BBQ around this block anymore. Sad to see.

Tony Gores I stumbled upon accidentally about 15 years ago.And let me tell you.. I will ALWAYS come back here when im in the state of Tennessee. Yes.. a bit pricey.. but so so worth it. Single handily THE best fried chicken. The BEST ribs. Top notch brisket.. the cake is literally showstopping... biggest portion of a single piece of cake you will EVER get...the most authentic southern dining experience, and I consider it the resturant that turned me onto "old school southern charm food"I also enjoy how they definitely swap out different recipes and swap out thier food lineups to keep the selection fresh.Long live Tony Gores! And I love seeing all the merchandise and seeing all the stuff about Tony's Gospel career..(Yes this review is from a northern yankee.. so take it with a grain of salt.. but I sing the praises of Tonys all the way up in Rhode Island..)Without a doubt one of my favorites restaurants EVER.Keep doing your thing Tony!!

Food was great! ❤️ the French fries too! We had 1/2 a rack of baby back ribs and a kids ribs and it was plenty of food for two kids and an adult. Self-serve sauce and drink stations. Service was quick. Indoor or outdoor dining options available. Kids want to go back before we leave!

The service was incredible and the food even better. We will be back. Told our friends to go here as well. The ribs were very tender. Expected prices for this area.

It's OK, BBQ.. butEver went to someone's house to eat for the first time, and the foods good, but if they asked you to pay on the way out, you'd be really upset. That's how I felt here.I can't complain about the food. It's good, and portions are good size. But is it good BBQ?.... Meh, at best. I'm a Memphis boy, and I hold all bbq to Memphis standards.Pulled Pork: It was moist and had decent smoke flavor.BBQ Sauce: Hot and Spicy - The best of the 3, but no smoke. It's not really hot, either. Sweet and Mild - No smoke, sweet, but that's it. Carolina Gold - It's basically honey mustard with a little bbq seasoning.Mashed Potatoes: Yes, please. I'd eat a plate of that.Rolls: Sourdough, soft and good. 4☆Mac-n-cheese: It's cheesy and not dry. So they get a pass. 4☆Fried Chicken: A little on the dry side, not much in the seasoning. Had to salt and pepper it.Overall, it's not horrible. If you are not a BBQ eater like me, you may really enjoy it.Pros: Friendly staff, mashed potatoes, Cheerwine in the soda fountain.Cons: Cost, clutter, limited seating, congested line for ordering. Especially if you're trying to read the menu and look at the display.Vegetarian options: There are veggies, but most likely cooked in grease.Parking: Limited parking

Do not miss your opportunity to have the best smoked meats and homestyle sides. Tony Gore has the best place in the Pigeon Forge area! Make the trek up the road or stop in on your way into town, but make sure you stop! I promise you won’t regret it!

I'd have to be starving to death before I'd eat at a restaurant where the cooks and owners breed and handle dogs while in their uniforms. Between that long hair, scraggly beard and the dogs, chances are good you're gonna find hair in your food.

My husband and I stopped here not knowing what to expect and we were so happily surprised! Indoor and outdoor seating. Great sweet tea, amazing food, the fries and tater chips are incredible and my husband had the sweet BBQ wings which he just loved. Super friendly folks, we met Tony himself inside and he was just great. We will be coming back many times to enjoy more delicious food! Great experience.

Growing up in Tennessee I find the food here quite good when is the superior selection Of Southern comfort foods. However they are overpriced. As a local $18 is too much for a BBQ Sandwich, sides &.a
