Well, 9 of our Thirsty Thursday crew met up on Friday night at the Shakerag Restaurant in the Sewanee Inn. First off the decor there is worth the trip even if you don't eat there, but we did! Usually it's hard to get seating for 9 folks but we were accommodated as soon as we arrived. The host, servers and manager waisted no time getting everything ready and we were seated.Waiting on one couple we ordered drinks and they were out in a flash. Oh my gosh. One of the best burgers and Brussel sprouts I've had! Sprouts were crispy and soft. Didn't need sauce on the burger. A bit salty for me but for most it's just right. The chicken and waffles had pepper infused honey! SPICY HONEY! Whoa. The chicken was crisp and juicy. I'm writing this and I'm not even done eating it!
