Stopped for lunch and so happy we did! As soon as we opened the door, we knew it was going to be great! My only complaint is that theirbsquces are sold out online--please restock ASAP!

First time here and will NOT be back. Came in to get some food paid $85 cash and waitress came to our table just to say they didn’t have what we ordered. I felt like they should have known what they had in the kitchen before customers order. Received a full refund and I will not be back. I do not live locally, what a waste of time.

I'm giving a 4 star only because I did not have service there. I ordered through DoorDash. I can say everything was in my order. The food was great it had a very good flavor. I'm not a BBQ person my husband is. The ribs there will make me become a BBQ lover. The potato salad is wonderful. Don't forget to try the banana pudding it's the best.

The staff here is really nice and the food is better! Everything we had was good, brisket grilled cheese on crack, greens, and Mac and cheese. Prices are reasonable but the side portions are small. We also tried both desserts: the peach cobbler and bread pudding. Loved them both.

Simple and Delicious! This restaurant was simple, very clean and very good. It has a simple menu but packed with great quality food and great flavor. The brisket was cooked to perfection and the sauces took it over the top. Again, like all things at the Nearest Green Distillery, the food was reasonably priced. The meal portions were generous and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our sandwiches were so good!!! BUT THAT BREAD PUDDING was a WHOLE VIBE. It was heavenly. It was warm, savory and satisfied all of my taste buds. WHOMEVER made that bread pudding, I would like to marry. Bread pudding never looks appealing but I never expected this bread pudding to warm my soul the way that it did!!! And I have had a lot of different variations of bread pudding. This is a restaurant worth trying and being a repeat customer.

As somewhat of a BBQ critic I’ll write my review here.Overall 7.5/10. BBQ pulled pork was very good, fresh, very little fat, really tender. I did think that it could have a bit more of a smoke/maple flavor. The sides were incredible. Coleslaw, baked beans, Mac and cheese all really good.BBQ sauce was average. I liked the medium best. None of the sauces have too much flavor but they’re fine.Dining room was nice and clean. Good counter service. Reasonable prices. Overall would absolutely recommend

Our family of 4 did the Uncle Nearest tour and came here for lunch afterwards. Two of us - my wife and I - have lived in the Nashville area for more than 10 years and have been to every highly rated BBQ joint in the Nashville area. The other two - our parents - are from Los Angeles, love BBQ and are visiting. All four of us were blown away. The ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, peach cobbler, everything was outstanding. Even the Texas toast was perfect. The best BBQ we’ve EVER had and we’ve had really good BBQ. My understanding is they are under new management. If so, keep doing what you’re doing. This level doesn’t happen by accident, we know that, and we’ll be back. We’ll be talking about this lunch for a really long time.

Visiting Bell Buckle for their annual craft fair. Stopped by this place to get a picture of the mural outside. Ended up going in, and can say, we will be back, even for the hour drive from Spring Hill.

I keep trying to give Uncle Nearest a chance. From being treated bad from the staff. To the awful food here. I hope they make it and do better. But this food gross. Might be good for starving people after a terrible tour at Nearest. .

Get the grilled cheese on crack! We got ours with extra cheese and pulled pork and the sandwich was delicious. I enjoyed the spiciest hot sauce with my sandwich and my wife enjoyed the medium sauce. When we need another beer and grilled cheese we'll be back.

NOT GREAT! If you know good BBQ then this will be a huge disappointment for you. The pork tasted exactly like a Boston butt roast that was cooked overnight in a Crock Pot. It was definitely NOT smoked. It was sopping with grease. Tried to save the leftovers (because it wasn’t a hit with our guests & we had so much left), but we had to toss it in trash the next day. There was so much grainy grease (like glue) on it that it literally ruined the pork. Will give props on the coleslaw and the mac & cheese. They were pretty good. Baked beans not great. Potato salad was better than most BBQ joints. The buns for the BBQ are also way too big and dry for a sandwich. No need in trying to be overly gourmet. It’s BBQ.

This is just a warning rating, we didn’t actually eat there. We tried. As recommended by next door Nearest Green Distillery we called ahead to let them know we had a large group coming, there were 17 of us and that our tour would end around 5 pm. Since it was only an hour until they closed at 6 I thought that was a good idea too. During the phone call two weeks in advance I explained all of the above information. The lady on the phone said ok that’s fine. I asked do you want any information from me so you know our group name and how many , she said sure. I give her that information, and a phone number. I will admit I didn’t feel 100% confident that she wrote anything down , but at the end of the conversation she said she would let them know. When we showed up with a party of 17 yesterday we were told by Amanda at the front door that orders are an hour out and they are not taking anymore orders. I explained everything above to her and she simply replied we don’t do call aheads. That’s great, except it would have been even better to have been told that when I actually did “call ahead” as was recommended by the distillery next door who you would have thought knew that about them as well. Amanda had nothing to say other than we don’t do call aheads so I asked for a manager. She went somewhere for a couple of minutes and came back and stood at her post by the door. When I noticed her back over there I said I was waiting to talk to your manager- she said I don’t know where she is I’m sorry, yet she had no intentions of telling me that?? I explained to her she must understand my frustrations and how upset I am because I did all my due diligence to assure they had a heads up for a large party, I’ve got a hungry group with me to celebrate a birthday and no one seems to care which is just poor business. She said I do remember “her” saying something about that when you called but we don’t take call ahead. That was it for me. Now Amanda has just admitted that she did indeed know about the call ahead, knew they didn’t take those but failed to mention that to “her” or once she heard about it call me back! Completely unprofessional. Very disappointed. Warning to others if it’s a busy day, don’t bother wasting your time or money here.

We stopped at the Nearest Green Distillery and grabbed a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. The food was really good

The sausages were wonderfully cooked. The ribs were 7/10. The briskets were 7/10. The star of the show was the suicidal bbq sauce.
