This is a solid Bojangles. It's extremely clean and the staff are very good at what they do. Sometimes they come across direct instead of warm and friendly, and the night crew sometimes takes a while to serve food, but this is the best place in Shelbyville for quick service chicken by far. It beats Chick Fil A in that they do not take 30 minutes to serve your food, and the staff do know what urgency means at Bojangles. Also, their variety of breakfast is superior and comes at a great value.

Staff was great and everything was clean. We went right at noon on a Friday. While I expect fried chicken to be sitting in a warmer, items such as French fries and boneless chicken breast can be dropped when the customer orders if business is slow. I understand some people prefer not to wait, but I had to wait on my tots anyway. My chicken Cajun filet was old, discolored, dry and chewy as well as my daughters fries but the biscuits were great. Overall I love Bojangles but when it’s not fresh it’s just not good.

Always have great food. It has always been freshly cooked or sometimes you have to wait 4-6 mins for them to cook it for you. I don't mind the wait most times but there are times I don't have the time to wait. This is the one thing that comes to mind about the restaurant is sometimes the person taking the order tells you at the window when paying that there is a wait for a particular item of your order, occasionally they will tell you while ordering which I like and would prefer.

We went to bojangles around 8:30 pm last night they were not busy at all but when we were ready to order they told us it would be a 25 minute wait for some chicken tenders. I don't understand why it would be so long of a wait if 1 they were not busy at all 2 it's Friday night shouldn't they be prepared to have customers?

The food was wonderful and the young man at the register was very nice and polite. The young lady that also helped us very nice and helpful. Her name was Laney. The restraunt was very clean. One of the nicer Boganles we have eaten at in quit sometime. We had the chicken breast dinner.
