I live near here and I always wanted to come—it was such disappointment. Even with happy hour specials. The food came out cold and it’s like the meat was sitting all day. It’s definitely not made to order. The agua fresca was very potent like they over did it with the Jamaica leaves. It has amazing potential but I had to go to the server everytime i needed anything.

I consider myself to be an aficionado of Mexican cuisine, I lived in Mexico and learned to cook there, so I know when the food is authentic and well prepared . The tacos were perfect, (carnitas, cochinita pibil, and barbacoa), the rice and beans spot on, and all of the other dishes appeared quickly and were enjoyed by everyone. It’s a happening place that is going to be discovered by many soon. Limited seating but there is an upstairs dining room. Service was friendly and fast, the margaritas and the beer selection were excellent. I highly recommend this taquería!

DO NOT COME HERE!! I hope the owner sees what I am about to write!! RUDE workers!!! My boyfriend and I came for dinner. First they are so unorganized, nobody sat us down they just told us to go find a spot. When I approached one of the workers who was yelling at the other workers, she had the nerve to put her finger in my face and tell me to hold on. Not only that, she served the guy that sat down after us first. So we left without ordering. She NEEDS to BE FIRED!!!! She has black curly hair. I read this place was suppose to be great but how unorganized and rude they were was a joke and pathetic. I have never wrote a bad review on a restaurant before!! If I could rate this place lower then a one I would!! Very unprofessional!!!

The Al Pastor was so yummy and so was the chicken! We got guacamole, chicken taco, al pastor taco and a al pastor quesadilla. All of which was delish!! Recommend! I was a little worried bc the area looks a little questionable but the people we nice and the establishment was great!

Extremly dissapointing. I spent more than 15 minutes, waiting for the menu, and I never got it. If you are a local you will NOT be served. You must be a visitor fron outside of PR to be welcome.

Since finding Acapulco the first time visiting PR we haven’t stopped going back. I mean 3-4 times PER TRIP we have dinner here. the tacos are to die for. The mole sauce is addicting. It can be pricey depending on how many tacos you order because they are $4.50 a piece but SO WORTH IT! Between 2 people we average a bill of $60-$80. The atmosphere and liveliness makes this such a fun spot to visit! 100/100

We chose the one because we like Mexican food and were not disappointed. Tacos were fresh flavoured and tasted great - everything very authentic. Service was efficient and friendly.

We ordered a bit of everything to share and loved everything, the tacos, quesadillas, mojitos, chips and guac, refried beans.... nothing to fault! Definitely recommend if you're in the area. The server was also really helpful as we asked for recommendations on what to choose.

The food did NOT disappoint. We started with elote and churros which came to the table hot and fresh and with sides of ice cream and Carmel sauce. After one bite of the barbacoa burrito, my husband said it's the best burrito he has ever had and this was before drizzling the in-house made chipotle sauce on it. The lengue taco was also highly regarded with tender pieces of flavourful beef tongue. I had a vegetarian burrito and it was flavourful and delicious. We also finished with another order of churros. A perfect way to end the meal. Sitting in the upstairs section we didn't know there was a dj on site when we heard the music upstairs. Had we known before calling the uber we would have hung around a little longer. Don't skip this place when you're in San Juan. You can also buy the chipotle sauce to take home...

Honestly the best burrito I’ve ever had, tacos are a 6/10. Not bad but the burrito is really where it’s at.

Second time visiting this place. Last time was in 2016. It was definitely better the first time I visited. It was still good this second time but i think the food is overly priced. Tacos were $4.50 each, they served stale limes w no juice from like two days ago I feel. The margarita I had was good, nice and strong but waiter, although very friendly and attentive, wasn’t attentive enough to ask if I’d like another which was fine cause I had a long ride but if they wanted to sell more they’d be more attentive on when ppls drinks are finished. I ordered corn which they told me would take 10-15 min to boil since they were “out” of precooked ones. I said that’s fine. It took over 30 min to come out. The coconut chipotle salsa and the jalapeño salsa are what make this place great though.

A casual restaurant serving fresh, absolutely delicious food. While on vacation for a week in San Juan, I stopped in twice. My husband says he had the best burrito of his life here. It has, and I quote, "ruined all other burritos for him," and "nothing will ever compare." I agree. Also, great service!

Excellent place! Delicious tacos! Great customer service! Love the location! The food is fresh and the customer service very welcoming. The drinks are exotic! Try it! I promise you will not regret the experience.

The service was great. I am completely disappointed with the food. I am a taco lover and this was not it. The place has a great concept but the taste is not there yet
