I wish I had taken a picture of my brisket, green beans, mac and cheese, and banana pudding BEFORE I basically licked the dishes... but here we are.FANTASTIC food. Brisket had great smoke ring, flavor, was tender, and the bark was perfect. Best we've had in a LONG time. Mac and cheese was super creamy. Green beans with bacon are better than mine. I don't think I've ever said that before. We added the special seasoning from the table to the mac and cheese, and it went perfectly together! The mild and hot sauces are SO good. Banana pudding was great too!Prices are good. Super friendly staff- pretty sure they were the owners. Blues music playing (we love blues- was a nice change from country you hear at most BBQ places). Everything was clean. We don't live close, but will definitely drive back to eat here again!Whoever is cooking knows what they're doing!

Stopped by on a rainy day. Had the brisket baked potato, which was pretty good. The pork nachos were also tasty. The sides were alright to decent, particularly the queso and chips. The sauces were OK, but nothing special. They had a salad bar, but it was not open when we were there, which is too bad because I would have been all over that. Prices were really good. Service was friendly. Overall, a good BBQ stop.
I’ve ate a lot of bbq and this is hands down my favorite place to get it! Prices are very good and fair, the food is amazing. It’s packed with flavor and isn't dry. 10/10 do

This is by far the best barbecue in all of Bedford County, hands-down. I’m a BBQ snob plain and simple. This place is straight legit. I know they’re just getting started with their business but I can’t wait to see more indoor seating, and just more seating options in general, but honestly grab it to go get it delivered. It’s awesome. Can’t beat the brisket, the chili, the macaroni and cheese or those baked beans.Thank you guys for opening up! Please support this business!

My fiance and I ordered the brisket potato with all the fixins. The food was excellent! All the flavors melded so perfectly together and the brisket melted in our mouths. I'm grateful the potato was just the right size because if it was much bigger I would have eaten until I was miserably stuffed. It SO hit the spot. Would highly recommend!!

When Texas met Tennessee, they left us Southern BBQ Co. Undoubtedly, the love child of two great American styles of BBQ, this is some GOOD eats.The brisket was smoked 100% to perfection, the Mac n cheese explodes in your mouth and the tangy but sweet sauce left me floored at the deliciousness I just experienced.Just Wow, 5+ Star!!!

Tried Southern Barbecue for the first time.The good: the sandwich was full of pork and it was very flavorful. The mild bbq sauce was very good.The people were very friendly and the place looked clean.The bad: the beans were hard. They had a good flavor, but they were not even a little soft.The pork on the sandwich was lukewarm. I like my food hot, so this made it not as appetizing. The two side items were good and hot.The mac and cheese was creamy but was bland and didn't taste homemade. I'm not sure what kind of cheese sauce they used.The price for a plastic bottled drink at $2.25 was a little high.For a sandwich, bottled drink, and 2 sides and the tip came out to $17, and some change. Which to me seems a little expensive.The experience overall wasn't so bad I wouldn't return. I would give the establishment one more chance and try something different.
