Even if you don't like the 50's, 60's, and 70's atmosphere, you will love the food. I loved both. I ordered a build my own burger with mayo, ketchup, lettuce and tomato, grilled onions and mushrooms with a half a slice of cheese. The only thing wrong with it was it was sloppy, juicy, and slippery, but that is one of the reasons it taste so good. The service was great, great, great.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

This was surprisingly good burgers...fries were just okay. I always eat it all and didn't finish the fries. Feels like a good 1950's joint but the food hasn't progressed either, so it takes you back to that time. I would imagine their shakes were good as everyone around me ordered one but I can't comment. Feels a little dirty on the floors and back of house and service left a lot to be desired.

Quick review! Yummy. Fresh. Hot. Tastes like a real hamburger. I can't do drive-thru burgers anymore. I just can't. Across the board, everything, everywhere, tastes like cardboard. And who knows what we are actually eating? Those paper-thin grey-toned "meat" patties. What is that stuff? Real beef patties? I seriously doubt it. Anyway! I have finally found a spot for my occasional hamburger craving. Hwy 55 burgers are really good. Everything tastes homemade. Patty is definitely a quality ground beef. Tomatoes were thick sliced. Lettuce was crispy. Bun was perfectly toasted. Cheese was soft and melted :) Fries were hot and crispy. Great lunch today. Happy tummy!

I had the Cheesteak (without peppers) and my husband had the Moose both were delicious. Chili cheese tots were also very good. We finished it off with a brownie sundae. It was huge! Full of brownie, vanilla custard, whipped cream and nut. Very yummy but definitely make sure you share with someone. Price was good for the amount of food that we received. Server was nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
I'm disappointed, the waiter did not know the menu,enough to not bring bread to ,two meals,till they were done eating,iask for no bread,on hamburger, twice,and still got it,the mens,bathroom,was filthy,dirty floors,this is a real shame.

What a mess!The food was pretty good, about what you’d expect. Service was ok too.However, the place is filthy. Food ground into the greasy floors. Gunk spattered on the windows and tables. You can see on the windows frames where they mop the floor with dirty waters as there is layers of gunk stuck to them. Everything has something on it. Place needs a serious deep clean.If they were shooting for the greasy spoon vibe, they nailed it.Won’t be going back unless some significant change happens.

Came in on Sunday July 9 in a good mood. Left feeling extremely humiliated. The employee, Mia, is not only very immature but very rude as well. She mocked me the entire time I ate. When time came to check out, I asked if they had Military discount. She asked for an ID. Unfortunately, my CAC card was stolen before and due to the hassle and time it takes to get a new one, I leave mine at home. So, normally I just use a combination of a pic of me in my uniform and an email from my Sgt as verification and I never have had any issues.Well, she gave me an issue. So much so as to tell me (as I'm looking for the picture) that an image from Google won't work. She needs proof. When I show her the pic of me in uniform she looks at me and says "cool, congrats. You have a picture in uniform. But that's not gonna work." And she said it very sarcastically and degrading. I then put my phone on the counter and informed her to look at the email from my Sgt but to never accuse me of stolen Valor. I didn't serve this country so people can humiliate me for it. Especially not some 16 year old high schooler who has no idea what responsibility or sacrifice is. Will definitely not come here again.

There's hardly any staff to be able to serve in a timely fashion. If you don't mind waiting an hour for your food, enjoy Highway 55.
