Very good home-style food, made fresh to order and served quickly and efficiently.Excellent breakfast, the omelet I ate tasted farm-fresh. The sausage was excellent and the grits were top notch.Add in very good coffee and you have an excellent breakfast.Reasonable prices too.My friends loved the fresh baked biscuits, and they said the pancakes were also very good.We will go back to try the lunch offerings very soon!Wheelchair friendly, with bathrooms available.Nice and clean place to eat between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville.

Just got here and ordered. Nice friendly people and parking for horse trailers. Nice country diner. We had hamburger steak lunch special. The food was lukewarm it was not hot the mashed potatoes were delicious but they only gave you such a small amount I mean it was ridiculous and it was just cold the food wasn't warm but it tasted good but it wasn't warm and of course I got here a little bit before two and they close 200.. but the waitress and the owner very nice friendly

Been several times over the last few years. The food and service is consistently pretty mediocre. The food is better than McDonald's but that's about it. Food is often warm and not hot. Portion sizes are inconsistent. It's cheap, though. Kind of what you'd expect from a small country diner - if not slightly worse. The waitresses are often in a bad mood and seem annoyed to have customers come in. They are somewhat attentive, but often seem surly. Sometimes you'll get good service - sometimes you won't. Depends on the time of day and their mood, I guess. There have been a couple times I went here and just felt out of place and unwelcome. On the other hand, I often see friendly banter between the extremely redneck regulars and the staff - so, maybe your mileage will vary.

I should be ashamed of myself for driving past this place for the last 15 years. I finally found the time to stop one day and now that I am retired, I eat there about four times a week. Good honest country folk putting out good tasting meals. If Ruby Tuesdays is your style, this ain't it. These folks appreciate your business. It's not fast food, it's darn good food.

This is a simple mom and pop stop diner. I try to eat hear every morning before work. I usually get the Pork tenderloin, eggs and a biscuit with sausage gravy. Delicious and the staff usually remember my order.

Wife and I went their for the first time today. We got there chose our seat and had to wait about 8 minutes for a waitress to come over, which was frustrating due to the fact that others coming in after us were getting waited on first (they must have been regulars). Once she came over, got our beverages quickly and placed our order. Wife have waffle and bacon and I had the big boy omelet with toast and grits. My wife enjoyed her breakfast, my omelet was very good, but it was the first time that I have had an omelet that didn't have any cheese on it. I do recall an upcharge for cheese, but I thought it was for the grits. Turns out it was for the omelet. The grits, I should have paid to have cheese on them due to the fact that they had texture but were absolutely tasteless even with butter and salt on them. It is a very quaint place with so very nice decor. I just think that the young staff doesn't rush to serve anyone who isn't a regular quickly, I had to ask for a second cup of coffee even thou a waitress walked right by me with the pot without asking if I would like a refill. The food was the saving grace of this establishment, I will go back and just hope that the service will be a little better.
