Way overcooked Shrimp Egg Foo Yung and dried fried rice! Very disappointed in overall takeout. Will I try again, yes! Everyone deserves a second try!

The food is alright. Nothing special. The rice servings they send with meals is always way too small. We always pick up 4 meals, and get one small carton of rice.

I have been eating here as my go to Chinese place since I moved here in August. First experience was amazing and I dubbed the crab rangoon as the best I've had. Since it has gone downhill every time I ordered and this last time will be the last time. The general tso chicken had a disgusting taste and the crab rangoon was flavorless. It takes a lot for me to dislike Chinese food, but this will be the last time I eat here.

After moving to Signal Mountain, we were so excited to hear that we had a great chinese place on the mountain. Boy, were we wrong... We've ordered takeout from Fortune House at least 8 times since we moved up here 3 months ago. We LOVE Chinese food! Honestly, we aren't very picky people either so the fact that I'm giving this a one-star review should say something. Our go-to entree is always General Tso's chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was chewy and not flavorful at all. Out of the 8 or so times we ordered it, it was good once. I also tried the Sesame Chicken once and it was maybe *slightly* better, but still chewy. I started ordering the House Lo Mein, since the chicken was so bad, which was slightly better than the chicken but honestly still not very good. Our other go-to items are the Crab Rangoons. Honestly for the first 4 or 5 orders, the crab rangoons were amazing! Seriously, they totally made up for the crappy chicken. But the last 3 times that we ordered, the rangoons lost their filling and their flavor. For 2 General Tso's combos and order of Crab Rangoons we paid about $33. So not cheap for this crappy food! Unfortunately, it seems like Chattanooga is lacking any good Chinese takeout restaurants. Including this one. Sadly, we won't be ordering from here again.

I have been going here for over 6 years if not more. They’re always so nice and treat me to the best donuts you can get if you’re a recurring customer. Love this place and love the cooks/waiter,waitresses! Always my favorite!

Old lady in there was very rude. I order my food, first it was still cold. Then when I went to sit down she went on a rant about how I cant sit down. She had a bad attitude all

We were babysitting sitting for our niece/nephews kids in Signal Mountain and new to the area. Went on Yelp read reviews and gave it a try. It was very good and quick.

Tried this place for take out. First of all, I would disagree with nearly all the negative reviews on here. If you're going to a takeout Chinese place and expecting a spotless updated modern restaurant, do us a favor and keep your review to yourself. This place is the typical takeout Chinese place. It's not super clean, the staff are friendly enough, the food is pretty good. I would give this place 5 stars for Chattanooga, considering the Chinese food scene in Chattanooga is lousy. The menu is large, some things better than others. I would recommend ordering the chicken teriyaki sticks with whatever entree you get. Also the crab rangoons are really good. I would recommend this place as the best I've found in Chattanooga for takeout Chinese.

In regards to portion size, I would highly recommend the restaurant. However, the food itself is really bland with the exception of the extreme saltiness of the food from the soy sauce. The place was close to my job, and my food was made fresh upon ordering. I just couldn’t get past the saltiness. I ended up only having an egg roll, and was forced to throw the rest away, as it couldn’t be saved. Huge waste of money.

We came here, because there were 4.4 star reviews which is higher than any other chinese restaurant in the Chattanooga area. In the photos it looked like a quaint restaurant with real plates and silverware. Not true, everything thing is in plastic or styrofoam. Although the food came out piping hot and the portions were large, the waitress pretty much throw the food done and walked away. It was as if we were causing her too much trouble to do her job. I ordered General Tso's shrimp, and it was so fishy and tasted freezer burned. I had to spit it into a napkin. Maybe their reviews are considered good because they're cheap with large portions, but I cant sacrifice quality of food. I tried to explain to the woman that it tasted like it was not right, and she tried to fight with me saying "her food is fresh everday, and I was being too picky." I guarantee it was rotten one way or another. I will not return

Order on line which has worked well, as order always ready. Good value with large portions. A lot of items are a little sweet for my taste but that is common with a lot of Chinese restaurant food I have had in last few years.

A consistent and good local restaurant. I'm grateful that we have Chinese food on Signal. It isn't very adventurous, but it is always good.

Has good food and a lot of it for a decent price during lunch hours.
