Food was just okay. Got the chicken shawarma. Nothing more than a load of chicken on a bed of rice. Flavor was pretty good. Included one piece of barely warm and somewhat stale pita. I expect a little more when I order a Plate from a Greek restaurant then just chicken, rice, and bread. I was pretty disappointed. Won't be back

Visited Deez Greek Cafe for the first and last time today. I started to place my order and was informed that they were out of fish, beef, anything fried, and tabbouleh. I ordered a gyro sandwich without a side and a Greek salad. The gyro meat was dry and flavorless and I'm almost positive I heard the distinct beep of a microwave in the back when the food was being prepared. The Greek salad was no different than a side salad you'd get from any chain restaurant. There was no feta cheese, only shredded cheddar, black olives instead of Greek olives, and a few tiny slices of tomato. The only dressing options I was given were ranch, tzatziki sauce, or Italian dressing....for a Greek salad. The pita bread was totally dried out and my daughter decided to throw it away instead of eating more than two bites. Bright yellow signs were posted everywhere about extra charges for pita bread or more dressing than the two thimble size cups the salad came with. Not very welcoming to demand 50 cents extra for a third thimble of Italian dressing on a Greek salad. The soda machine was out of order, the Coke cooler had almost no bottled drinks (Coke, Seagrams, and water) and the Bang! Energy drink cooler was totally empty. I typically try to support small businesses and was excited to try this one after moving to the area a few months ago. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but lack of selection, tasteless and dry food, and $7 for whatever impostor Greek salad I was given just won't earn repeat business.

Horrible customer service owner .. no smile no Welcoming.. some food not up to the level

Tzatziki was watered down too much so the salad was pretty much plain lettuce since there was no dressing. No hummus included so basically had 4 falafel and plain rice. Had to get more lunch somewhere else after spending $11 here

This place has great food. However, if the owner (I'm assuming she is the owner) had better people skills the restaurant would be OUTSTANDING. The lady in the back came out to assist us today and she was sweet as can be. Sounds like the positions of the owner and the employee in the back need to switch positions. Just saying.

I really want to like this establishment for several reasons. The restaurant is clean, the food is good, but the owner has no people skills. I've been here numerous times & it's like he's always in a bad mood. I wish give this business a few more tries & I will update my review & star count if I have a better experience.

Would not recommend or waste money here. The lady at the counter was not friendly or welcoming I should of turned away then and stuck to my normal place by Kroger but I wanted to give them a try. Place was dark food was way overpriced and tasteless I payed 20 bucks and i dont even know how? And you can’t go off the receipt so I’m sure I was prob over charged but that’s fine because I won’t be be back. Go to the gyro place by Kroger or by cicis pizza because this one is NOT it.

One of the best Greek/Mediterranean spots I've found anywhere in Tennesse. Definitely recommend.

The lady told us we couldn’t have a sandwich with a salad on the side and we said ok, then she took for ever to build our sandwich. She was out of taboule so i had to eat mine with out it, then a lady came in trying to buy 4 sandwiches and she told her that they were out because it was really busy! What gyro place is out of gyros come on people l. This is on sam ridley road

I ordered the beef and chicken Shawarma with rice and tabbouleh. Food was good, tasty and hot, portions were more than enough to fill me up and had quite a bit left over. BUT, I have eaten at 2 other local Greek/Mediterranean restaurants that I would rate better than this place. I wanted to give Deez Greek cafe a shot, it was good, nothing exceptional.

We visited the food truck in downtown Nashville and I’m so glad we did! The gentleman and his uncle were so friendly and courteous to us. The food was DELICIOUS and big portions for a great price. Great conversion. It was a pleasant experience while we were on vacation.

There are several comments about how rude the owner is or whoever the guy is that works there and they hold true. This place is almost humorous and worth going just to see how much unsolicited hatred they can throw at you and how often they act like your very existence as a customer offends them. The woman behind the counter warmed up by the end of me leaving with my food, I feel like she is on edge because of the owner but this is a review, not the Dr. Phil show. The food was actually good and I will be back for the show and the food. If you go, go with the mindset of being entertained by the owners awful people skills. Maybe that's his selling point after all.
