I remember when this place was new. Sure, it has had a lot of wear and tear. But when my favorite Chinese takeout places started running $30+ I was glad to rediscover a place where we spent $23 before tip last night for buffet and drinks for 2 (ice cream, cookies and cake if you want, too)! One of those place you know are going to be great as soon as you walk in. It's a little too humid. No one serving you speaks English beyond "what you like to drink" and "thank you." There's a 8 year old working the register but gives you better change that most teen age fast food workers. And their burbon chicken is the best around.
Love this place! Always pack containers full to the brim. Best Veg soup ever. Food always Steaming hot,fresh,tasty. Great variety,taste,freshness on bars. Good choices of rice,soups too. Has good soft serve ice cream. Good ice tea too.Parking: Easy access parking. Easy access for handicapped.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm handicapped on cane, sometimes wheelchair. Have no difficulty with the restaurant in La Vergne.
