I had really high hopes for this place as Joey and Manny’s House of Pizza in Nashville closed up shop. I will say I was greeted with kindness here. A slice of ham and onion pizza with a side Caesar salad was 18.00. I wanted to compare the same slice I get when I’m at one of my favorite places in West Bradenton, FL which is Danny’s Pizzeria. Danny’s lunch special with a slice and salad is 12.00 there. Salvos Pizza slice was covered in cheese which covered up the flavor of the dough and sauce. I understand using additional mozzarella to hold the toppings in place, but it was way too much. NY pizzerias pride themselves in their homemade dough and most importantly, the sauce. I couldn’t taste neither. If I want a good slice of pie around Nashville I’ll drive to Spring Hill and eat at Nelly’s which is the same family as Joey and Manny. If you’re local and don’t want to travel, Salvos is probably the best in Smyrna.

I've been here once before and had the pizza pie's don't get me wrong I love the sauce on the pizza's but today I wanted Lasagna and when I tell you I ate everydrop my friend had the Chicken Parm it was a winner too! I can't wait to try the other pasta dishes!
Came in for a quick slice. The cashier rung me up, called the order to the cook, I went to sit down on the bench and before my cheeks could hit the seat I was told my slice was ready. The whole interaction lasted 2 mins if that.My pizza was cold and probably only hit the oven for 2 secs. I had to finish it in my air fryer. Sad! Should have got a frozen pizza.

Ordered delivery. Food was great! Only issue was the fries I ordered. Did not get the value of $5 French fries. Seems to me it was not enough. Other than that stromboli was amazing quality.
Local family owned pizzeria. The atmosphere is great. The food is wonderful. Our waitress was nice but seemed to have other things on her mind. Everyone has bad days, though. I had the Salvo Stromboli and it was amazing! It's definitely big enough for two people to enjoy or you can do what I did and bring the rest home. Just as good heated back up in the air fryer. At first I thought the prices were a little high but changed my mind with the portion of food you get and the quality. Next time I'll be trying their pasta!

Great place! We had the Salvo Stromboli. Did not disappoint! Very large, enough for two adults or three children. The server was very attentive and happy. I also really like the self serve soda area. We will be back!

The waitress was friendly, and explained that we had missed their rush, or real busy time, however it seemed like we waited entirely too long, specially considering we were only 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant being served, the other 2 being seated after us and getting their meals before us. Of course I cannot speak on their carry out or delivery orders during this time!Parking: Parking was very congested. The weather was not the greatest so people I am sure were trying to get close spots.
Easily some of the best pizza and best people in a town. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and they didn’t disappoint tonight like usual. Nothing tops their pizza in my opinion.
