We were traveling and decided to check this place out based on the awesome reviews. It's a good casual place, you order at a counter and they bring the food to you. The woman at the register wasn't too friendly or just seemed like she was ready to go but didn't really offer any suggestions when we asked and mentioned we're from out of town, but the employees bringing food out were super friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp BLT tacos with boiled potatoes. It was ok. I should say, I'm not a fan of spicy food and didn't know both the tacos and potatoes were spicy. My husband got a friend shrimp, boiled potato and French fries platter. He ate it but he still says this wasn't my best pick for restaurant. The kids grilled cheese was really good though. We weren't at all impressed with this place.

Quaint Southern food place with take-away, outdoor, and indoor dining. My kids raves about their brisket, shrimp, and grits. They didn't let parents even try a bite! Staff were super friendly and patient with our kids. Highly recommend. Perfect place off the main highway to get out, stretch, and eat home-cooked food (instead of soulless chain fast food). We will be back!!

The servers are rude and the food is basic. There's maybe 6 items on the menu, it was the same before COVID. They also close absurdly early and rush you out. Doesn't matter though because I was done with my meal 3 bites in. The parking lot is gravel and very rough, be cautious with low cars. Honestly just don't go but if you must be very careful because they do not follow Covid protocol and honestly I don't think if they even follow all of the health codes either. Will not be returning.

Exceeded all expectations for food, service, and cleanliness. If I could give a bajillion stars, I would. Hubby and I sat in our driveway trying to find a nearby restaurant (recent move to this area), and Yelp hasn't steered me wrong yet, so when I saw the stellar rating for Delta Bound, I suggested it. We arrived and were immediately greeted, but the hostess informed us the wait could be significant (30-40 minutes). But they took our order and promised to start cooking as soon as we were seated. The young lady made several suggestions as to entrees and sides (catfish, brisket, shrimp, potatoes, jambalaya--as well as desserts: lemon chess pie, strawberry cake, and double chocolate cupcake). We'd barely sat down to wait, and someone popped around the corner to let us know a table would be ready in five minutes--and it was. Food came out within 10-15 minutes of us being seated (piping hot), and can I say, WOW!! Every single bite of EVERYTHING was delicious--like lick your fork clean scrumptious. The food is all from scratch, and it tastes like the chef stole every Southern grandmothers' very best recipes and started from there. The food was AMAZING!! The sauces (also made from scratch) added layers of flavor, and dessert was worth fighting over. Yep, I'll be Delta Bound again soon--like maybe tomorrow.

This place is amazing! Had the hot chicken sandwich and it was so juicy, lots of flavor and oh so good. My family also ordered the amazing burger and brisket sandwich. Also, the service was incredible! Every staff member was so kind. We just so happened to lock our keys in the car and AAA didn't show up till well after closing. The staff just let us stay until they finally showed up. They kept offering water or even to drive us back to our house to get the extra set of keys. We will become regulars for sure! Everyone needs to try Delta Bound!

This place was very homey. Food was pretty good. With the sauces the food is great, without the flavor of the food is lacking flavor. Fries were not very crispy but had great flavor. Coleslaw was average. Hot chicken sandwich was not very spicy but still very good. Nice, relaxed place to check out. It is a order at the counter restaurant.
Great food and great service. Charming and cozy atmosphere. I had the alligator tacos and broccoli salad -- delicious! I'm grateful for a charming restaurant without having to drive into Franklin.

Had a lovely lunch here. I had the spinach avocado salad and a side of the crab boiled potatoes. I was expecting a small plate of maybe four potatoes and instead received a platter of crispy potato pillows. My mom had the fried fish and it was legit! Very happy I found this little gem. If I lived closer, I would definitely come here more often.
