Great staff and location- but the food was average at best. Sadly, it was not BBQ that stood out for me...and it was expensive. Way over priced for what you got. I wanted to try several of their sides, and my lunch ended up being over $30!!Just not worth a second trip.

Willie Mae’s has always been famous for their outstanding beef brisket! We arrived between lunch and dinner so they had sold out of their beef brisket that had been prepared especially for their lunch. They were then preparing their brisket for their evening customers. So we didn’t have a chance to try it. They do have all the usual items you would associate with bbq so we ordered the pick 3 plate and choose three types of bbq to sample. The pork spare ribs stood out, the chicken and pulled pork were on the dry side but probably would have been perfect for lunch. They even offer a freshly pulled chicken sandwich if you prefer. The potato salad was tasty but the green beans were too salty. They have six different bbq sauces which I found amazing and fun to try. We finished with the best banana pudding we’ve had in a long time. The folks who work here were great. We were so happy to see them back open. I can’t wait to comeback and try their beef brisket.
I got the loaded nachos with chicken it was fabulous. You received a lot of food so be ready to Chow! I also ordered a family pack for everybody else of the pulled pork with baked beans and potato salad everything good and fresh. We also had cornbread and it was great I'll definitely order again! Sorry no photos we dug in too quick

Food was fresh and ribs were smoking. Seriously, I recommend the ribs. They were sold out of brisket but we'll definitely be back to try it. Owner was personable and welcoming. Music on Fridays and a Saturdays.

We had a blast visiting here our first time. The atmosphere is fun, the staff are terrific--especially Emma--and the food is as good as you'll find at any small barbecue joint anywhere.The brisket is outstanding. Be sure to try the wings too!
