“If you’re searching for a place to stay around the Smokey Mountains, you’ve found the best place- Dancing Bear! My Husband and I stayed at Dancing Bear in Townsend for our honeymoon and it was the best experience we’ve had. The cabin was clean, easy to get to, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. They offered complimentary bikes to take on trails and had a very nice hot tub on the porch that was so peaceful.The town of Townsend can still accommodate your travel needs with the Cades Cove winery, coffee shops, beautiful trails to hike, and cute shops but it is crowded with crazy traffic. If I could give our whole Townsend experience more stars, I would! The bistro was also hands down the best food we’ve had in our trip! The chicken is the best chicken I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend Dancing Bear and the bistro enough!“
“I'm from out of town, here for a funeral and will be returning in 2 weeks for the memorial service. I Googled "coffee shops near me" and Google pointed me to The Dancing Bean and I was not disappointed!! Great price for extremely good coffee! Nice, cozy, friendly atmosphere. I will be returning everyday that I am here in Tennessee!!!“
“Very charming place to come and enjoy a beverage with your friends and family. There’s a convenient playground for kids to stay entertained so you and your group are able to chat a bit. There is ample outdoor spaces and quite a diverse menu. I have always encountered friendly staff and other patrons. I absolutely love the complimentary soda machine. It’s a really cool place.“
“My husband and I have been coming to the smokies for several years now but for some reason we haven’t turned right at the end of Cades to check out this amazing camp store until now! We wear our smoky vacation shirts throughout the year and have always been bummed we haven’t had any good Cades cove shirts. Eventually, my husband had to drag me away. I kept piling shirts into my arms, captivated by the designs. You gotta stop here for the cutest shirts! Bring lots of money though, it does add up rather quickly.“
“This place was a wonderful surprise while visiting cades cove! We had our pups with us and this place is dog friendly! We happened upon Burger Master on opening day for the season of 3/15. The only suggestion is they really need a cold service window for the people only wanting ice cream and other frozen treats. We wanted to go back after the burger but decided against it due to the long line. Even with that being said everything else was wonderful! The patty melt is excellent as well do not count it out and get the sauce!“
“A couple of years ago, we met friends from the area here for a great breakfast.Zip ahead 2 1/2 years and the food is still outstanding and the service was great. Becky did an outstanding job of making sure her tables were satisfied.A little out of the way, but truly worth the drive. And, if they're busy--it's worth the wait.“
“My husband, daughter and I had dinner here and it was the best food we had on our entire trip! The establishment was beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff (host, hostess, waitress...everyone) were extremely nice, and the service was superb. Definitely recommend!“
