They messed up my order yesterday, charged for it. no gravy or cranberry jelly for the dressing. portion size was ridiculous. It's just gone down hill.

I worked here for almost 2 months. the place is falling apart inside and outside. there's birds living in the ceiling in the doorway above the party room. The management is not the best. Was let go because i couldn't switch to nights. If you want a clean place to eat, I wouldn't eat here. They don't clean the ice machine regularly, the ceiling in the tea isle is falling through, there's mold on the spouts to the drink machine and it hasn't been inspected since 2015 so anything could be floating in your 3.11$ drink. if you do eat here be cautious of the prices as they are inflated. Make sure your burger is cooked all the way through because their gas cook top lowers in temperature as it cooks meat. I've seen mice, I've seen roaches, I've heard birds, they don't regularly clean the bathrooms and the only person who did was on leave for awhile due to surgery. if they put in as much effort into this place as they did hunting or anything else it would actually flourish and be better.

The best home made food i’ve had in Tennessee. Excellent lunch buffet! Tuesdays is Kraut & weenies and fried chicken. Wednesdays is chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. Definitely a must stop for lunch.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Never been here til today. Truckers passing thru town. Gave us a breakfast menu with what seemed like reasonable prices. When we got the bill everything was practically twice what it was listed for on the menu. Their excuse was that it was an old menu. Didn't bother to tell us when they gave us a menu that the prices were wrong before we ordered. Cashier called owner who said there was supposed to be a sign letting customers know that prices were different. Cashier looked for sign but it wasn't there. Owner said that they wouldn't adjust price even though there was no sign. This place is a rip-off. Not only that the food is not very good. Grits tasted like crap and I ordered a rib-eye medium-rare and got it well, well done! This place is awful and not very honest!
Great meatloaf and gluten friendly! Great potatoes, turnip greens, purple hulls and sweet tea. So happy to find good cooking on our trip!Dietary restrictions: Use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs in the meatloaf so gluten friendly and delicious

We've eaten here countless times over many many years, and have never been disappointed!The atmosphere is cozy and has that perfect small southern town vibe.The friendly and helpful servers often went so far as to remember our names and orders, and the food is always even better than home cooked.
