Had been eyeing this place for weeks before my trip. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. Had the brisket plate w hot sauce, white beans , turnip greens and cornbread. Every last bit was delicious and healthy. So satisfying , gonna have to take a nap before having the home made pie one of their regulars recommended. A great finish to a very busy day.

Excellent BBQ place! I asked if they had a sampler plate,but fortunately for me, they didn't. Instead, the lady told me I could order a two meat plate with two sides. We ordered the Brisket and pulled pork with turnip greens and baked beans. The second plate was smoked sausage and smoked bologna with mac and cheese and Cowboy beans. The meats were wonderful, with a great smoky flavor. The portions were enough for two of us to have lunch and dinner. And costing less than $35, if was a great value. The Cowboy beans had a great flavor with a nice kick of heat. We enjoyed the mac and cheese, the baked beans and the turnip greens. Looking forward to our next visit.

My family ordered takeout about 30 mins to closing tonight, and everything was fantastic! I really don’t care for majority of the restaurants in this area, but this place is awesome. I ate a pulled pork sandwich with greens and baked beans. So good!

Strolling in here to get your smoked bbq feels like a trip into the past like going into an old country store. This family run business has been providing locals and visitors a like good old smoky bbq for years! Eat in or take it with you this is a solid choice for a delicious meal. Some of our favorites are the chicken platter on the bone, shredded pork, great turnip greens, green beans, out of this world corn cakes, iced tea and a local ladies famous homemade desserts including chess, chocolate chess and sublime banana pudding! Now that’s a meal!
the food is good ! the few times i've gone inside though the workers were a bit rude which is why i took a star off . other than that i would recommend this place to eat !
