Came here after getting my haircut to see what they had. I ended up getting a Philly cheesesteak hand pie. It was a 10/10 the crust was all velvety and wavy, buttery and flaky, the meat was also seasoned to perfection. The pie was also a little greasy and some dripped onto my hand and burnt a little but was overall a good,delicious experience. The lady who took my order was nice and friendly. The store itself was warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a quick, easy lunch.

If anything, go and try their raspberry lemon curd hand pie! The texture and balance in flavor is hard to find, so definitely worth a visit. Friendly, patient staff. Reasonable prices and a variety of sweet and savory options. The Shepard and pot pie are a must try as well.Lunch and other dessert items were okay. The chai pie and blackberry pie were not it. Truffle bites were dry. The peach hand pie and strawberry lemonade hand pie were also dry with little filling.Breakfast special was great!

Caitie's Pies is truly a gem of Abilene. Definitely worth a visit. Out of the handpies I've tried, I love the Shepherds Pie, the Chicken Pot Pie, and the Raspberry Lemon Curd pie, but her weekly specials, salads, and soups are awesome as well. Caitie has also made fruit cobbler for an event at my workplace, and it was incredible!

I get something different every time I go there, and I connot stress how great every one of them have been. Every savory option is great. While the the chicken pot pie handpie is basically an instant classic, I've been regularly ordering the OG Sandwich or the pita. If you want something sweet, every option is top tier.

This place is such a hidden gem!! I tried the chicken pot hand-pie and it was amazing! The pastry was flakey and fresh and the filling tasted like the BEST homemade chicken pot pie. I was really surprised by just how good it was! The cafe is located inside of the little tourist shop, it was a little confusing to find but I’m so glad I did!
