Love this place. Go almost every other day. Went today and got home. The chorizo and egg taste like chemicals for some reason like a plastic cleaning solution taste. So idk what that's about.

As a Texican whose family has for generations called Tejas, my beloved state, you all know as the great state of Texas, home long time before this great state became part of the United States of America. My family jokingly say, we didn't cross the border, the border crossed us. We have lived and loved these beautiful, blessed parts enjoying true Mexican cuisine from recipes handed down from generations. La Pop's food comes close to my family's home cooked recipes. They've added some Tex-Mex flair, but never-the-less, most definitely the closest homecookng Mexican food around. Don't be fooled by other expensive and fancy restaurants. Nothing comes closer to my family's home cooked recipes than La Pop. Take a step back to the past days of yesteryear and allow yourself to experience what homemade Mexican food with a touch of Tejano flair is truly made. Your tummy will love it.Vegetarian options: They will cook your meal upon request and specifications.Dietary restrictions: They will cook your meal according to dietary restrictions if you upon request and give specifications.Parking: Located on Arnold Blvd close to Dyess Air Force Base.Kid-friendliness: A place the whole family can enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Built with wheelchair accessibility.

The food was perfect, just wish your menudo wasn't so expensive, and that maybe you can offer small, medium and large for those who don't want to overeat.

I ordered a dozen chicken tamales for Thanksgiving. They were awful. Pale. The chicken inside was dry and the masa was so so BAD! I had to throw them away! Thanks la pop for ruining my Thanksgiving morning breakfast with family!

La pop has the best breakfast hands down. It has become kinda pricey, but who hasn't? Usually we always have a good experience. This was not the case Sunday afternoon . Part of our group had gotten there at one and had ordered breakfast. Our second half came in at 1:30 and was NOT able to order breakfast. They refused to make any eggs. Seriously?! So be warned not all items are available till closing. We were very disappointed but lesson learned.

Worst burritos I have had in a long time. I ordered 4 of them with bacon, egg, and potato. They were loaded with an extreme amount of undercooked potatoes and burnt eggs. There was barely any bacon that was mixed into the eggs and not slices like other restaurants. Twenty dollars for 4 burritos that were very disappointing.
