I eat at La Popular on Treadway every Wednesday, on my way out of town. I get two beef and gravy and a large lemonaide! And I'd eaten a lot of their other menue items, too! The enchilada plate, the taco plate, their breakfast burritos, everything is delicious.

Always a must stop when visiting Abilene. Their burritos, specifically the carne guisada with egg, along with their chips and salsa are delicious. Friendly staff and quick in and out service.

Called ahead order in early AM. Didn’t receive accurate order. Had my student waiting in dining area over 20 minutes to receive incorrect order. Gentleman stated he didn’t hear me correctly when I placed order. Once food was paid he did not even inform preparation staff that call in order was there. To top off the horrible customer service received, the wrong burritos were given as well. Never again, lesson learned.

Sorry I can't go higher on this review. The flautas were bland and tasteless, and given how they're packaged for takeout they got soggy before we got home. The same thing is that we only went there because I had loved the original restaurant when I was a kid in high school. We used to go there often for lunch, and I was looking for a little bit of nostalgia. What I got was disappointment.

Awesome little burrito shop, reminded me of all the shops where I used to live in Houston. Definitely recommend.

Without a doubt it's one of the best places for an authentic Mexican breakfast. Their burritos are the best.

Why put that you open at 6 when you're hardly ever open at 6
