Great food. Great service. Had strawberry and lemon poppy, scone and tea and coffee. The kids had smoothie and lemonade. This coffee shop is close proximity to several of the museums like the 12th armored division and the Grace museum. So nice to tour around downtown. It's practically across the street from the Paramount.

We stopped in here to grab a coffee and play some cards. We loved that there were all different types of seating. Some people were there watching videos, others were studying, and some were socializing. Great mix of people. We had a mocha and royal breve and both were excellent. We really loved seeing all the cups that had been drawn on by customers and employees behind the counter.Dietary restrictions: They have oat and almond milk for an extra feeParking: Street parking. Can get filled up during peak hoursWheelchair accessibility: First floor

Monks has good coffee for less than Starbucks. I believe the ingredients are higher quality as well. The down sides are a smaller menu and longer waits. I dont mind waiting a little longer, but Ive noticed when I order a few drinks the staff separates orders rather than working together so four or so other customers will get their drinks before mine is ready even though they ordered after. 15 minutes is about the minimum but often it takes longer. A couple of the baristas consistently make drinks that dont taste as good as others. There is a good amount of seating but the furniture I have to say is gross. The couches look disgusting as they are stained and clearly on their last legs. It doesn't usually smell good either so I dont spend time in here, but I do love the coffee.

I have been going to Starbucks for a long time now. Hands-down I am willing to drive to the one location in town to have monks Coffee over Starbucks.I got a hot caramel macchiato today and it was one of the best drinks I think I’ve ever had! Anyone who hasn’t tried should try monks support your local small business and you will be so happy you did☺️ not to mention, it was about three dollars cheaper
