Boy, do I have a REVIEW. I just stumbled across this place on Yelp because I was looking for a quick lunch around my office. I went to the location and IMMEDIATELY, the smell outside is delicious, warm, sweet and inviting. and ordered a sandwich combo that comes with a half sandwich, soup or salad and housemade chips. I brought it back to my office and when I tell y'all... I had an out of body experience as I was eating this combo. I got the turkey and cheese hot sandwich and tomato basil soup. Say what you want about a simple turkey and cheese sandwich... but La Spiga somehow made it a delicacy. The sourdough bread that I got it on was some of the best bread I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh and complimented each other seamlessly like the Dallas Symphony during their Summer Music Series. And the SOUP? The perfect dipping soup for my sandwich AND on its own. This tomato basil soup blows every notable competitor I've ever tried in the past out of the WATER. The housemade chips were also fresh and lovely but I spent most of my time on the sandwich and soup. La Spiga Bakery will now be a regular spot for me. Looking forward to taking my friends here and frequenting it for work lunch getaways. God bless whoever made my sandwich, soup and chips and may the fruits of blessings be showered on the founder and staff of La Spiga Bakery. Thank you.

I’ve been a loyal customer here since 2010. I moved away for 5 yrs and came back to the Addison area and am close to this bakery again and the enhancements in the last few years have been even better. Quality and taste continues to be 10/10, consistent, fresh. My go tos are the spinach quiche, which now has a combo and their house salad is delicious, I’d love to take their house dressing in a bottle. Good variety of veggies, mushrooms, zucchini, tomatoes too so this is not your average house salad.Ham & cheese croissants are still beyond delicious. And you can’t go wrong with the sandwiches, the pork tenderloin, chicken tarragon and even a simple turkey&cheese is still delicious. Now that I can order for delivery it’s dangerous for my wallet ? but I will always be a huge fan of this hidden gem.

The bread is amazing! Also the specials 10 out of 10. You have to try their desserts at least once. I recommend the brownies. The restaurant is very busy with tons of seating but not very clean. I believe it is due to them being so busy. Also order ahead because there will be a line.

Was intrigued by the Italian cream cake and ordered it for a birthday. Also grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie is pretty good, filled with butter and pretty mushy consistency. The Italian cream cake was OK, not great flavor. I have to believe it was not a fresh one. We served it the same day we picked it up. It's a triple layer cake and the bottom layer was hard and dry. Such a disappointment.

I love that this place feels like a secret. It's kinda out of the way but it's super cute with a fairly large menu. Everything is always delicious and the workers are so nice. If you're ever in the area for lunch I highly recommend.

This place is truly a gem. The penne bolognese is some of the best pasta I’ve tried in Dallas. Anything you order here is really good. Even the little cubes of chicken in your sandwich taste amazing!Their chocolate brownie cookie is legendary. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. I’ve been 3-4 times and will keep returning!Located next to a loading dock/warehouse near Addison Airport.

We came here for breakfast Saturday morning. I wish the owners would take advantage of the beautiful and cozy place they have. As it is, this is not a place to dine-in. We came in and we stood there for a minute, not knowing if we had to be seated. We eventually sat ourselves at a table. The service was awful. You have to order at the register, which no one mentioned. Not even the lady that brought us a plate with sweet bread… *wrapped in foil.*. The cashier that took our order did not know anything about the menu. This is a European style bakery, but it honestly looks like the business is just fully dependent on DoorDash and Grubhub orders and doesn’t care much for people that want to dine in. This being a cafe, I was expecting a coffee variety. They had no decaf. My boyfriend can’t drink caffeinated, so he ended up getting a tea, that “they thought was decaf.” They proceeded to bring me a cup of hot water and pointed me to the teabags. The sandwiches were okay. I asked for a warm roast beef sandwich, but it came cold.Their logo says they’re passionate about making bread, or something of the sort. Main reason we decided to come… well, there’s not a single bread out there. I was expecting to walk in and be overwhelmed by the smell of fresh bread, but nothing. So much potential, but sadly a bad experience.Dietary restrictions: They should have decaf options and lactose free options.

Came in today during the Friday afternoon lunch rush for a pre-Valentine anniversary lunch with my spouse and let me tell you, ladies this place was filled with whole tables of men! I thought they were hosting a speed dating event or something, but there were just so many hungry men chowing down! Have been going here more than a decade and it just isn't what it used to be. Ordered the chicken and goat cheese pizza, which was missing the goat cheese and had regular tomatoes subbed in for sundried. Not as tasty as I remember. The person from the kitchen couldn't find our table and they weren't wearing any gloves. Got some attitude from the woman who finally found our table and she wouldn't take away the table number and left dirty dishes despite no room in the table. The service is so bad. Just use the catering or call in a to-go order. Unless you're going in for the many, many men dining there. Lol.

Welcoming staff that recognize me every time I come! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. I've tried the chicken tarragon, roast beef, and the croque monsieur. I'm astounded by the quality of ingredients and the craft in putting something so seemingly simple together

Had to hang out somewhere for a few hours while my car was being worked on and this little gem was close by. Figured I'd read my book and get a coffee while I waited. Ended up ordering a great latte and a delicious Croque Monsieur sandwich with Cesar salad and home made potato chips. Both the sandwich and the salad so great and tasty! And the in-house made potato chips... yum! And the service is very nice and friendly.
