If you live in or near the Addison/Farmers Branch area, or in surrounding cities and like seafood this place is a MUST. It's always so hard to pick/say a favorite, but this is in my top 2 no doubt. I feel like this place is so under rated, but in truth a staple of the Addison/Dallas area! Alot of history, extremely consistent, amazing quality ingredients and dishes. The staff is fantastic. I live right down the street and don't come here nearly as much as I should. It's actually not out of price range at ALL for the quality and portions you are getting. I hadn't been in a while up until recently and Alejandro always makes my visit that much more special and enjoyable every time! I love this place. You will not be disappointed.My favorites are the mussels, lump crab salad, lobster (DUH), they make an awesome steak if you're into surf & turf. Save room for Crème Brule ;)

The food is very delicious, lobster, steak, meringue key lime pie. The plates are full of food. At about 50-100 dollars a person it was great food and service. Definitely a place to go for special occasions. Nuty and Angel were great at asking how we were doing and keeping the drinks topped off. Would love to come back again.

The best! Great service! Wonderful atmosphere. As a family of 6 including 2 teens, we all loved our food. Lobster was melt in your mouth. All entrees of stuffed snapper, lobster, steak, salmon, and seafood pasta were outstanding! We cleaned our plates. Our waiter was on top of service. He made our granddaughter's birthday special.. Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I have been fans of Lefty's Lobster and Chowder House for several years. Terrific food and service. Only downside is the place is small and tight seating. Beyond that small issue, We HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone who loves Lobster!!!! The Clam Chowder is the best we have ever had anywhere!!!!!

This is clearly a place that many love because it has been around for 30 years, and when we went on a Tuesday night, it was crowded with many people who looked like regulars.However, we ordered just a couple things off the menu and didn't like either of them. The Maine lobster bisque appetizer was the most off-puttng. It seems like it was a cup of melted butter with 3 large chunks of lobster and a tomatoey flavor. It was very hard to eat; we kept adding crackers or bread or lemon juice to try to cut the butter taste. We also had the fried calamari, and while the calamari was really deliciously cooked, so that it wasn't rubbery like a lot of places, the breading didn't have any flavor. I wanted to love this place as it looked to have many happy patrons, but I'm not sure we're motivated to give it a second chance.
Dietary restrictions: Everything came with carbs. If not pasta then potatoes.
