order was given wrong fried rib plate boast 2 sides was only given one and the prices online arent correct so be ready to spend more in person. food was decent but not worth the hassle of getting wrong or not what you ordered. they have multiple numbers so very hard to get in touch with anyone. overall 4 out of 10

Let's start with the loud smell of inscents burning going up your nose as you stand in line. Couldn't smell any food aromas because of that and that doesn't mix well with food at all. Next stood in line 20 minutes finnaly get to the counter to order a vegetable plate to be told they didn't have whats on the menu the black eye peas or pinto beans is what I wanted so I ordered yams, greens and mac & cheese. What a MISTAKE!!!! The greens was awful I mean awful with huge stems. If you're use to eating horrible food you'll like them. The yams was can yams that they added cinnamon and kyro syrup to them. The mac & Cheese was ridiculous. Apparently this restaurant buys can foods and add ingredients without washing the can taste off first & properly seasoning the food. I wouldn't and couldn't recommend this place because it's an insult to real soul food cooking. If for some reason you don't believe my review or the other people who is trying to warn you it will simple mean you can't cook and you'll use to this kind of garbage.

Please try this spot out if you’re in Dallas. I wish I could give 10 stars in all categories. The service is off the charts. Southern cuisine and hospitality. Let Mrs Elizabeth know I sent you. You want be disappointed. Jack town in the D-town. No restaurant in Dallas can compare.

Lawd I planned to show how the food looks but I ate it ???♀️I had the pork chop sammich with a side of chicken tetrazzini. Baby listen I ate the chicken tetrazzini before I pulled out the parking lot. The service was great and everyone was so nice, even with a packed house. I pray God bless you all and your business. I am happy customer.

They have a system to where you wait outside if its full inside. Can be confusing if the door is locked as no way to tell if open or not. Getting seats wasn’t too much of a hassle. As well wasn’t much of a wait after ordering for half of our party, as the others seemed to have been missed. Far as the food we tried many of their options. Nothing really stood out . The sides might’ve took the win over the main course entrees. The rib tips were quite large as well. Was a one and done unfortunately.

Looka here, the food was great, it was hot and fresh, service was absolutely amazing, no long wait time even with the place packed, drinks were excellent and just right, nice vibe, music playing.I couldn't wait to get to the car and taste some of it, I ate the chicken tetrazzini in the car and most of the okra, wings were bussing and hot, I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was southern style and loved it. The music was nice. The sides were amazing. But unfortunately the wings and fish were not seasoned. It was mostly the wings and it's like they were drenched in grease.

Visited on a Saturday around 3pm'ish.Front desk staff was friendly. Music playing was good.I ordered the fried rib plate with greens and yams.Ribs were fried a little too hard and had too much seasoning for my liking (but to each his own).Yams taste like they came from a can (but to each his own).Greens had a lot of stems.I had a bite of my friend's mac n cheese...tasted like Velveeta shells to me (but to each his own).My mango lemonade was a little too sweet for my liking, I asked one of the staff for a cup of water and she told me I would have to buy a bottle of water...that they don't give out cups of water.NOTE: Recipes may have been altered because the sides we had in comparison to the same sides I've seen on other reviews, are visibly different.I wish this establishment the best of luck but I won't be returning.
