They completely ruined my bachelorette brunch. The service was awful. We were a group of 12 but there were only two other tables in the place and we got little to no service from our waiter. They said they couldn’t do separate checks. A large part of my party works in the service industry and knows their system very well and separate checks is very much an option with that system. My mom’s food didn’t come out. We had to remind the waiter twice before she got her meal. We didn’t get any napkins aside Tom the one small white cocktail napkins for our drinks when we first got there. Anytime anyone asked for anything it took 20-40 minutes and reminding several times before getting it.They said the told my mother in law about the no split checks policy when she booked the reservation but she swears that information was ever given.Luckily one of my friends who is also ex service industry was kind enough to write down the total that needed to be charged to each card to help alleviate the issue.Overall the experience was awful, my friend said the manager wasn’t polite to her at all, horrible service. Thanks for ruining what was supposed to be a very special day for me by giving us such a horrible experience.

Went here for Mother’s Day tea. They sat three parties at once, us included, over 20 min late. The room held four tables. One server. One large table never got cleaned. They were out of three teas. All the sandwiches were warm and crusty from sitting out. The people behind us got their food once we were done and they were seated at the same time. Felt terrible for the server bc he was nice but so clearly overwhelmed. Won’t go back and would not recommend at all. Has a lot of potential but seems they just don’t care.

[5/27/2023,$35] This is a very pretty restaurant, very wedding-esque. We had a quiche du jour and French omelette. They were served with side of diced fried potato. I never had quiche du jour. it is chewy doughy pie like food. Everything tasted good. Our server was excellent

Horrible experience on Mother's Day. We took my wife here and had a reservation for high tea. We were told it might be another 30 minutes to be seated and this was already more than 12 minutes after our reservation time. We used to speak to the manager and she finally got us seated soon. When we walked in we were the only ones in the room, so not sure of the delay. The waiter with the bad attitude and neck tattoo was not attentive and very slow. It took us 10 minutes to get a menu and that was after we asked the manager for one and she told us they didn't have a menu and would just bring us tea.We finally received tea after being there for 40 minutes. Shorty after they brought the food and the waiter told us he would be right back. After another two trips he finally came over to explain everything. We pointed out they forgot our child's food and instead of brining in out, he took the entire piece back and finally came back out 15 minutes later. The food was what you would expect. The prime rib sandwich tasted like a mayo sandwich with no meat on it. They charge $25 when you make the reservation. After all of the issues and poor service I was greeted with the bill which included a mandatory 20% gratuity. It was about $200 for two adults and two kids. No sure how this place will stay open.

Made a reservation for my future Daughter in laws bridal brunch. Our server had 3 large parties and it was clearly too much for him. We waited or went without. One lady never got her food. We told the server first thing that we needed separate checks he said that Ediths does not do separate checks for large parties. One our guest had to figure out the check and stand with the manager to tell her how much each card was to be charged. I woukd not recommend!

Edith's Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch spot. The avocado toast with bacon is a standout dish that I would highly recommend. The bread is perfectly toasted and the avocado is mashed to perfection, adding a creamy and flavorful element to the dish. The bacon is crispy and adds a delicious smoky flavor. Overall, this dish is a 5-star winner and I can't wait to come back for more.

Cute French Cafe at Watter's Creek in Allen. I've walked around Watter's Creek many times and I finally found this gem. This cafe serves breakfast, brunch and dinner; however, I was there for the afternoon tea. I ordered a pot of green tea, which is serves with a three tiered meal. It had petit sandwiches, scones and sweets. My favorite was the smoke salmon sandwich. The service was great! They made the experience feel elegant and fancy! We were impressed with how the server pulled out our chairs and placed the napkin on our laps. Everything about the afternoon tea was perfect.

Went with large party for afternoon tea. Venue is spacious and nicely decorated but that's the only positive in our experience. Waiter appeared annoyed that he had business although I would have thought he would be excited about a large party on a very slow day. No coffee drinks available on the day we went. Was told the coffee machine was broken. I wanted to leave at that point but hard to find something last second with available seating. Chocolate milk is essentially milk with some chocolate sauce (maybe Hersey's syrup), crepes and pancakes are edible, and chicken tenders are decent. If you're looking for a semi-authentic French bistro experience, then this is definitely not the place for you. However, if you want to pay exorbitant amounts for food that isn't even better than a fast food joint, then this is the perfect place!

Came for my birthday with the family for brunch. Mimosas were good. Ordered the short rib hash which was less than stellar. Was supposed to come with a poached egg. Potatoes were definitely previously frozen and lacked any fried texture and the egg was considerably over cooked (3 of us all ordered dishes with poached eggs and they were all over cooked including the Benedict). Not the best brunch spot in the area.

The only reason I stopped here is because my kid likes macaroons and I decided to see if they had some. Unfortunately, they didn't have any macaroons but we sat and had dessert and she loved the place so we decided to have her birthday party here coming up next month. So we sampled a few other desserts, and I had a glass of wine. It was a nice time. Service was really good and the ambience. It is great for small events or larger teas.

The high tea here is divine! If you're looking for a place to have an elegant tea party this is the best spot in north texas! Allen was so sweet and wonderful, and made sure everything was perfect. The service is 10/10 and the food is just as amazing. I included pictures of our tea party for reference! Can't wait to come back again soon!

If we could give a 0 or negative rating, we would. Horrible customer service. The food was nearly frozen during our afternoon tea. They didn't have enough of the tea set for our party. They disrespected our food allergy and gave food that had nuts! Overall, will not recommend nor will we be returning. Waste of our time and money.

We booked high tea for a milestone birthday celebration. They accidentally had reserved the room for another party at the same time, so they just put us in the main restaurant (which is not high tea atmosphere at all). After they moved us, we waited an additional 30 minutes before anyone even tended to us. At the end, not even a smidge of a discount for the poor treatment. I was so disappointed in the whole experience.
