Bland Food overpriced.. Meats have no flavor I came here for lunch this place is not good by any means. The rice and beans have no seasoning. The meats have no taste and taste burnt. Save your HARD EARNED money and go someplace else.12.50 for 3 tacos and rice and beans no drink..

Today was a taco kind of day, and I decided to give two places a try by ordering some street tacos for lunch. Fershy was my first stop. Like many small taco places in Texas, this is located inside a gas station/convenience store, with a small space tucked away in the corner to your left as you walk into the convenience store. This was one of the nicer, cleaner setups like this that I've been to. It wasn't busy when I got there on a Friday before noon, just one fellow waiting for his order to go. The girl behind the counter was very nice, and I placed an order for two pastor tacos, one carnitas taco and one pollo taco. While I was waiting a woman walked in and placed an order to go. About 10 - 12 minutes later my order was called, and I took it to a table to eat. The first thing that I noticed was that none of the tacos looked to me like pastor. In the past whenever I've ordered a pastor taco from a Mexican restaurant it has a deep red color to it. None of these tacos did. I almost wondered if the cook had got my order wrong. Two of the tacos were easily identifiable, the carnitas looked like carnitas (although a bit pale in color) and the pollo looked like pollo. So I assumed the other two were supposedly the pastor. After eating one I can honestly say that I still don't know if it was pastor. Not only did it not look like pastor that I've had before, but it also didn't have the same taste. While I was eating this taco, the woman who placed an order to go picked up her food, opened the bag to take a look at it and I heard her say the same thing "This is pastor? It's usually a lot darker in color than this". So I'm not crazy. Either Fershy's idea of pastor is a lot different from what is to be expected, or they messed up the orders and gave us something else. Well anyway, it was just ok tasting. The chicken was also just ok, although I did get a few very rubbery pieces in there. The carnitas was moist, but rather bland. It didn't have that little bit of char that some places do when they cook theirs that makes it more enjoyable. I can't say there was anything "wrong" with Fershy. Like I said, the service was friendly, the place was clean, the prices fair. The food though was just "ok" though.

The food is very good, however, I found a hard white substance in the Menudo soup. It appeared to be a tooth. The customer service is awesome.

We go here every couple of weeks. They have a super solid Cuban sandwich and the best Horchata around! I always get take-out so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but it is in a gas station, which means the food has to be good! It's a rare person who would pick a gas station taco shop for its atmosphere.Great value as well: you won't spend more than $12/person for plenty of food and breakfast the following morning.

Not only was the food homemade and fresh, it is hands down the best traditional Mexican food in allen (or even Plano for that matter). The service couldn’t have been better, the woman who helped us so was kind, patient and went over their whole menu with us. We will definitely be back regularly.

I've lived in Allen for 5 years. We stoppedtoday and ordered two fajita tacos from here. And then I went across the street. And ordered the same two tacos there. HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE TACO SPOT FOR ALLEN. Not boiled (I think they boil across the street) and pretty flavorful. The tacos weren't huge but worth the money for sure. And the drive thru option was great! The customer service was amazing. She even gave us some samples of their fresh juices. Which my Husband loved so much. He got the fresh cucumber juice. Don't wonder anymore. Stop by and fill your belly. We did happily!??❤️
