I have been waiting a while to try Goat and Vine in Allen, my wife and I decided to do as a Friday night date night. The space was nice, the cocktails and wine were good as was the meal. Unfortunately not as good as the what the price tag commands. The service is ok. There are some small details that would make a huge difference in the wait staff, but I think that will come with experience, the staff seemed young and inexperienced. All of the staff would benefit from a field trip to one of the similarly priced establishments to see what separates them from the rest. Goat and Vine is not there yet, but I think there is potential. Food quality was good, unfortunately it lacked experience.

Erin and Manny are awesome! When you first walk in the atmosphere is very cool. I loved the decor. Then Erin my waitress was very informative, thoughtful, and attentive. Wonderful service! Manny was the GM and amazing! He and Erin were both extremely accommodating to my temporary medical diet restriction and were happy to help. The wine was also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!!Dietary restrictions: Accommodated gluten free and restrictions on certain cheeses. Chef, Erin, snd Manny were great!

Bottom line, the food was terrible! I ordered an omelette which had no taste…missing basic salt and the semi-melted sliced cheese in the middle appeared completely lifeless. My friend’s mini avocado toasts appeared burnt and were dry and again…saltless! The only mild saving grace were our drinks that were mediocre at best and overpriced.Definitely will never patron this restaurant nor ever recommend!

Gave it a try despite the negative reviews. Our experience was actually not too bad. All the dishes tasted pretty good with the exception of the three steak dish. It had way too much butter; the whole thing was practically swimming in melted butter, so I couldn't even eat it. The charcuterie board presentation could be better. The chicken main course was great. We went for a very early dinner and it was not busy at all, so that could have helped the service, which wasn't bad.

Fabulous place!! The food is amazing! The service is so friendly and informative! They truly catered to our wants and needs. Will absolutely return again. Don’t sleep on the cocktails or the smoked salmon toast.

Had dinner here with family from Detroit and they absolutely loved it! The service was phenomenal. The food was spectacular. I had the salmon with asparagus and potatoes. It was delicious. You have to try the goat cheese appetizer! We also enjoyed the watermelon wine! Wow! It was so tasty and refreshing. We are definitely going here again!

Amazing food and service, you might think it’s a small portion by looking at the photos ut it’s actually very large portions because the dish is huge. Love the vibes and customer service will visit again.

Goat + Vine is a hidden oasis in Allen! I had been wanting to try this spot since it opened and finally came in for a night out with a friend. Service was wonderful from the moment we walked in and the espresso martinis were phenomenal. Not overly sweet, rich espresso taste, with just the right amount of bite from the spirits. We had the goat cheese bites to start and they were crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside with the perfectly paired dipping sauce. Their fresh bread for the table is warm and fluffy and came with an herb butter to spread. For entrees, my friend had the sea bass which was light and full of flavor while I had the pappardelle bolognese that was *chefs kiss* just PERFECT. My friend ended dinner with a Tito’s and soda and I opted for the smoked old fashioned, which had the yummiest taste and smell to match. Needless to say we were huge fans and can’t wait to be back!

The restaurant is beautifully furnished, and the ambiance is opulent. We dined on a Friday evening, and if I'm being honest, this was a retry from a former difficult experience. The food has always been relatively good. My filet was thinner than I would have expected for an 8 oz, but it was well prepared and fired to a medium rare like I ordered. My fiancé's caprese salad was somewhat lacking. The tomatoes were quite thin and the mozzarella was not fresh. If they chose to upgrade to buratta, I would quite happily pay an extra $5. The basil was sweet and pleasing. Our server had a larger table (in addition to ours) and seemed challenged to maintain her section at times, and she ended up comp'ing my final glass of wine and my fiancé's final vodka soda as well. She was super sweet and did the best she could. By that point, my steak was cold so I opted out of finishing. There are so many good things about this restaurant, but they have some room to take it up a notch for sure.

We booked our reservation after reading the great reviews. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived, which should have been a hint for us to leave. The waitress was very friendly. The food (pasta) was underwhelming and definitely not worth the price. We will not be returning.
