James was our server at Watters Creek location-he was the best server I have come across anywhere in years!!!! Food is excellent as always. I wish they would add sound absorption decor to assist for the loud noise echo of the happy crowd-really hard to hear your own table.

We went to Mi Cocina to celebrate my cousin’s wedding week. They were accommodating when it came to getting a table for 15 of us. However, our server, Nicholas, provided such terrible service. He seemed annoyed from the start. We all ordered drinks and there was a misunderstanding about one of the drinks. He thought one of us ordered a frozen marg instead of on the rocks. Instead of just switching it, he kept arguing saying “I wrote down frozen. Someone ordered a frozen. I wrote it down” even after we stated that it was fine and we’d keep the frozen drink. Luckily, my cousin was able to walk to the bar, communicate that there was a misunderstanding and get the drink replaced. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer and it took over 20 mins to come out. When we casually asked the manager, he brought it out. Nicholas, again, states “if I knew you wanted it earlier, I would’ve brought it out. Y’all didn’t tell me you wanted it now”. The manager was so kind, brought our guacamole, took our drinks order, and made sure our table had enough salsa. He helped lighten the mood. Nicholas seemed like he didn’t want to serve us from the second we walked in and would rather just argue or make comments. Hopefully, it was just an “off” day for him, but it really dampened the mood.Food was great. As always, sunset enchiladas are a hit!

Wow, they were really busy. But, they took care of us. My daughter, my grand daughter and I had been shopping at the outlet mall, which was great, and we were hungry for Mexican food, sooooo. Here we are. I got a plate with a taco, enchilada and a tamale. The enchilada was hard, I couldn't eat it. The tamale was the best thing on the plate, it was really good. My daughter got a breakfast plate. She said it was really good. My grand daughter got the nachos and she liked them alot. If you like enchiladas I would be sure and ask them to check and see if they are fresh and soft, like they should be. I should have sent my back. It was really hard and all dried up. There was no cheese in it.I hope you have a good dinner. ??
