Delicious lunch. The enchiladas were perfect cheesy covered with chili con-carne and onions. Chicken quesadillas had onions peppers and spinach cooked to perfection. Great server and hood Tex Mex food a must for lunch.
This place is great. We went in a busy Friday night. Never thought we'd get seated. Had 2-3 large parties going on. They found a spot for us at the bar which was fine. Service was great considering the activity behind us!! The food was great!! Fresh guacamole was great. Tried a combo plate so I could try a lot of different things and it didn't disappoint!! Wish it was just around the corner but it's worth the drive!!
Great food, average prices for a restaurant. I had the devil shrimp. They were awesome and the rice that came with it was great too. I'd say all that needs to be done to get a five star rating is to keep the place a little more clean.
The food was very good, I got Flautas de Pollo. The waitress was there when you needed her and was very nice, I 100% recommend!
Delicious and fresh! The best Mexican food we've had for a long time! The fajitas are amazing!
The best Authentic Mexican restaurant in Amarrillo Texas off route 66 ..hands down !
Love this place! The food is so authentic and different from what you normally get at a Mexican restaurant. I've been a few times now and haven't been disappointed yet!
Nothing beats visiting Route 66 while eating great food! Feels like I’m in the “Cars” movie. The food was excellent. The seafood soup was very delicious but beware, for spicy lovers only. Great for a hangover or even if you’re feeling a bit down. ‘Sopes’ plate was very good, taste buds are highly satisfied. What’s better than great food? Great food with an ice cold beverage. Wether that’s an ice cold beer mug or a tasteful cocktail. Drinks complemented the food very well. Last but not least, a great thanks to our server Karla! Very friendly, cracking jokes and making us feel welcomed. 10/10 will definitely come again.
Came here for lunch based on Google reviews and glad we did! The food is *incredible*. Nice variety of choices for lunch specials, great service and prices. It's also located right in the middle of this fun and artsy neighborhood...so we were able to go for a little walk afterwards. I ordered the "beef soft tacos"...should have known it would be some buttery yummy Texas steak?
We heard this place had authentic Mexican food. And I'm Mexican so I was super disappointed with the fajitas. They tasted like they had Worcester sauce on them. The beef was dry and overcooked the chicken was inedible. The salsa tasted fishy and was not spicy. We asked for a different sauce and it was spicier but still tasted "off". The hostess originally told is there was an hour wait. When we came back 30 minutes later we got seated immediately. We asked to wait at the bar and was told there wasn't one and there was. ? Bathrooms are singles and awful. Queso was bland. They had a band outside.
The food was great, the service was excellent, the prices were very good as well. The atmosphere also stood out and was great. We will definitely be making a trip to eat here again.
I always love coming to Braceros. I have had many fun nights there with good friends over the years. I am definitely a lifetime patron and would recommend it to everyone.
Stopped here during a road trip for dinner and it was so delicious!!! I wish I could come here all the time for a Mexican food fix. We had the combo fajitas for two and it was enough to last us (2) meals. There was so much flavor and everything was cooked perfectly. The beef and shrimp was perfection. Our server did an awesome job even though he was super busy. If I hadn't looked around, I wouldn't have even noticed because he gave us so much attention and at all the right times.
Great Food! Super friendly staff! I got the carnitas with jalapeños. My wife got the tacos al carbon. Both entrees were excellent. We got order To go and they loaded us up with the best homemade tortillas, chips and a huge container of salsa. Check it out!
Not the prettiest patio we've been on, but old building in the heat of Amarillo's historic Rt66 district. Chips and , apparently, homemade salsa followed by a lamb and shrimp fist as for 2! Spicy but delicious! Server attentive, knowledgeable the menu. Inside looked in better condition! Food great, price good but a little questionable on upkeep! Would return if in area.
