First of all- shocked at how good their mexican cuisine appeared.I ate here many times over the years when I come to visit family yet today i had the breakfast (for dinner) cause my wonderful waitress (youthful short dark-haired bundle of pure joy) said i could.For 10$ I got THE BEST breakfast I have had on any vacation! Got two eggs with all sorts of junk in them andNO UPCHARGE?? WHAT?This deal included a drink as well!You cannot find a better deal anywhere off 1-40 and certainly not in all these new "hi falutin'" millenial "cafes".Two perfectly cooked southwest eggsOne piece of baconOne piece of exceotional sausageA drink of choiceAnd French Toast??Stop the press!!Anywho. great deal, fantastic service,And compared to an overcrowded pancake house down the street or a 12$ bagel at some strip mall- this was the best bang for my buck this vacation.

Denise was our wait person and she was excellent. The first time we met her she memorized our names and sure enough the next time we visited she remembered everyone’s name!!

Can you describe a local landmark with a "meh"? The atmosphere reminded me of a Hometown Buffet or maybe a Dennys. The food did too. As a positive, at my middle 50s, I was the youngest customer there. I wouldn't go again, but I would bring my mother there.

Our waitress Keli was pleasant and attentive, and the food was delicious. Calico County has been a favorite in my family for a very long time, and it has stayed consistent throughout. The new remodel (forced by the terrible flooding) has provided some great upgrades and I can see this restaurant remaining an Amarillo gem for many decades to come.
